Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden almost survive his first press conference in three months. At the very end of the question-and-answer session, he was asked by a reporter if he had been tested for “cognitive decline,” he answered, “I’ve been tested. I’ve been tested constantly.” Biden went on to say he could “hardly wait to compare my cognitive capability to the cognitive capability of the man I’m running against.”
Biden’s odd response raised more questions than it answered.
Such as...where was he tested, and Why? It seems odd he requires constantly repeated testing. Are his doctors worried about his mentation? Most importantly, should these test results be shared with the country? After all, it was what the Democrats pushed for and demanded in regard to President Trump's cognitive test result.
It was Democratic Julian Castro who, during a testy and memorable debate moment, asked Biden whether he had already forgotten what he said two minutes earlier about health care. It is no secret Biden gaffs are numerous, and that he has not seen fit to actually openly campaign, only giving well-orchestrated videos from his basement. We all must realize, much of the footage most likely ended up "on the cutting floor"...
When left on his own in live interviews he becomes a hot mess, leaving a long list of statements that clearly show he is not fully "with it". Mistaking his wife for his sister, introducing Barack Obama as "Barack America". Vice President Biden once America’s uncle mistakenly referred to Scott Community College President Dr. Theresa Paper as “Dr. Pepper.”
The link below goes to prove Biden is clearly having a problem with mentation and has serious signs of dementia. He is clearly confused and becomes angry quickly when his confusion surfaces.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvWV5jLqc5k
Common early symptoms of dementia
memory loss.
difficulty concentrating.
finding it hard to carry out familiar daily tasks, such as getting confused over the correct change when shopping.
struggling to follow a conversation or find the right word.
being confused about time and place.
mood changes.
It is very clear and evident Joe Biden exhibits all of the above symptoms.
Thoughts... Do you think Biden has slipped into Dementia? Should his cognitive test results be made public? Could you vote for Joe if he is diagnosed with dementia?
Thoughts? Yes, I have one. This comment sounds like those from Liberals claiming Pres. Trump is mentally unstable.
Conservatives surely don't expect to get a pass when they engage in the same tactics for which they attacked the Liberals?
I imagine we will soon be hearing about a platoon of doctors and experts claiming proof that Biden is suffering from dementia. *sigh*
GA
I'm with you on this one, GA. Whether Biden actually is suffering from beginning dementia or not, the furor over his "incapacity" is well rooted in Democratic cries of "obvious" mental illness of Trump.
Democrats found a new weapon in the political mud slinging and Republicans are quick to retaliate with the same thing. A shame, because any real mental incapacity is going to be buried in false narratives and exaggerations.
After listening to his gaffs, and him stating his Doc's ae testing his mentation "frequently" you feel it inappropriate to have questions about his mentation? It is very apparent Republicans will most likely demand Joe's health records, physical and cognitive. I believe he has dementia. Just my opinion from watching him live, and recorded.
We need to see the results of Joe's cognitive tests, all of them... This certainly will work to clarify, if he has dementia.
I appreciate your view. I disagree with your sentiment in this case. I have stated nothing but what I have observed and made every attempt to offer any incident in its proper context. No one reading my comment needs to read into anything but Biden's own actions and own his words. I certainly hope if you feel I stated anything out of context you bring it to my attention. I can understand that perhaps some conservatives might find this comment unnecessary. I think it relevant, Biden is running for President. My questions were blunt straight forward.
I am very interested in having these questions answered. No pass requested or expected. I certainly went after liberals for bashing the president when they were pushing a narrative that held little water. In my opinion, Biden's mentation is clearly altered. I do have a right to voice my opinion, my concern. As you have the right to point out you find it distasteful. I hope others will be as honest with their opinion.
I agree we will see the Republicans asking to see Biden's health records, physical and mental. I for one, after hearing Joe claim he is tested frequently for his cognitive skills am very interested in why he is tested frequently. Whoever thought we would need to consider this in a candidate for president.this disturbs me, not the fact that you find it perhaps distasteful to use it as a tactic to beat Liberals over the head with.
You sigh a lot GA, maybe the fence is becoming too high, and oxygen is thin... (meant to be humorous).
.
"I have stated nothing but what I have observed and made every attempt to offer any incident in its proper context. No one reading my comment needs to read into anything but Biden's own actions and own his words."
A Liberal could honestly say the same thing about their perspective that Pres. Trump is mentally unstable. As well as legitimately state the same things you said in the rest of your comment.
I understand you hold this view as an opinion, and it may turn out to be a valid opinion—or not, but still, except for the subject target, your comments are no different from the anti-Trump comments.
I wasn't taking issue with your points, just the irony of seeing a Conservative validate a criticized Liberal tactic.
The *sigh* has nothing to do with a fence, and nothing to do with finding anything distasteful about your comment, it is just an indication of the sobering reality of human nature. At least that is the purpose in almost every use of it that I can think of. (there is one other use for it—as a recognition of the truth that there a lot of idiots among us, but that isn't the case for its use this time ;-))
It's just an observation Sharlee, not a criticism of your content presentation.

"A Liberal could honestly say the same thing about their perspective that Pres. Trump is mentally unstable. As well as legitimately state the same things you said in the rest of your comment."
I agree they can and have said the same thing about Trump. Although Trump's actual cognitive records do not indicate cognitive problems.

I brought up the subject only to point out his mentation does seem to be a glaring problem, and should we ask to see Joe's cognitive test results. I was seeking to point out a history of odd behavior on his part, and the fact he admitted he is frequently tested on his cognitive skills. I must ask have you watched the video I posted? It gives multiple examples of his odd behavior. In my opinion too many to be called just gaffes.
My comment laid the groundwork for the possible need to check out his mentation before casting a vote his way. As my questions indicated. ( Do you think Biden has slipped into Dementia? Should his cognitive test results be made public? Could you vote for Joe if he is diagnosed with dementia?)
It appears you feel this negative subject is off-limits. Will this apply to any and all negatives in regard to Biden?
I am having a good long look into all that is Biden. His time in Washington especially. So far pretty scary. I always make attempts to give reference to how I came to any given opinion. In this case, I think it fair to ask to see this man's cognitive skill test results, and all other records. Unless we have come to the point of not caring if a candidate has mentation problems. I am not there just yet.
"It appears you feel this negative subject is off-limits. Will this apply to any and all negatives in regard to Biden?"
Nope, you have misunderstood the point of my comments. And since that point was just an observation there is no need to carry it any further.

Rasmussen Poll "Monday, June 29, 2020 --- 38% of Voters Think Biden Has Dementia
"Nearly four-out-of-10 voters believe Joe Biden has dementia. Most voters, including just over half of Democrats, feel it is important for the likely Democratic presidential nominee to publicly address the issue.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey found that 38% of Likely U.S. Voters think Biden is suffering from some form of dementia. Based on what they have seen and read, 48% disagree, but 14% are not sure".
" Sixty-one percent (61%) of all voters believe it is important for Biden to address the dementia issue publicly, with 41% who say it is Very Important. "

Dr. David Scheiner, who was Obama's personal physician for 22 years assessed Bidens Health records and offered his opinions.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news … ealthy-guy
His health record clearly showed several serious problems that could cause mentation problems. It is essential that the voting public be aware of Biden's past and present health conditions. His health records should be made public as the Democrats demanded Trump'srecords be made public, and were made public.
... Joe has been biden' his time for a long, long time in the government ... and four years, alongside President Obama.
I would say he is as he has always been: Just fine.
I surmise he is simply overly nervous in public.
He feels safe in the basement.
However, he claims he is raring to go to debate Donald.
Actually, I predict the current president will spare Joe of a debate. Due to his shyness, Trump will not even request/expect a debate.
Shyness, I hear, is genetic. Joe can't help it.
And we need to accept his disability
and deal with it appropriately.
Interesting view. I never found Biden to show shyness. But this is something I have not considered. It would seem if shyness was a problem he would certainly have not gone into politics. But who knows...
II have followed Joe and his exploits for many years, not sure he ever appeared shy? He certainly did not seem shy when he went after Anita Hill. He also through the years exhibited outbursts of anger, actually, that is still apparent in some of his recent interviews.

... he is also kind of a weirdo ... the comments about the hair on his legs in the pool... huh?
He is verbally inappropriate at times. One of the key symptoms of dementia. Yes, his hair leg statement was odd, very odd...
A huggy, lovable weirdo could be our next POTUS.
It's possible, appears some are ready for Joe to be our next president.
the majority? really?
... and then the problematic mail-in voting scenario.
We'll never know.

Aug 5, 2020, Today Joe Biden lives from his basement... ---Today Biden says he hasn't taken a cognitive test: "Why the hell would I take a test?" He also said to the black commentator "Come on man that's like asking you before you came on this program are you on Cocaine are you a junkie"...
So, did Joe lie about being tested constantly for his cognitive skills, or is he being truthful about never taking one or does having problems with the onset of dementia? Is Joe showing his racist nature bringing up cocaine, and asking a black man if he is on cocaine or "a junkie"?

Will Biden's Party choose to keep him out of the debates rather than have him go through the rigors of elucidating his public policy proposals, etc., in a formal debate against Trump, in lieu of recent polls in which up to 55% of Democrat voters believe Joe Biden may be in the early stages of...

There are some who applaud Joe Biden for what he has done FOR America. They believe that Biden is going to make America a better, more humane country. However, there are others who REALLY see what Joe Biden is doing TO America i.e. the Afghanistan fiasco, the continual migrant problem,...
