So, who was it that told me that Elder had a snowballs chance in hell?

California has spoken, far rightwing megaphones like Elder had NO chance. We are not dealing with a popular moderate like the "Governator"  back in 2003. In this era of Trump, the Right today is ugly, to say the least.

Watch the right hand-wringer California GOP start whining about vot r fraud when they knew that in California the Democrats are wide awake to the threat of the potential of Trump (mini-me) running their state. No way!! Never in California, giving the Right a black eye across America.

A few folks within this forum are going to have to eat Crow.

DS Elder wss crying fraud before the election! What a waste of money! The next election for governor is Nov. 2022, so why the hurry to begin with?

It isn’t us against them, to many who aren’t dogmatically entrenched. I hear Elder graciously admitted defeat. That doesn’t appear to happen often anymore, on either side of the aisle, so that’s something to inspire hope.

Claiming fraud before the vote even started made it clear he was living in the same fake reality that 30% of the GOP is in.  But it was nice to see him make a concession on par with so many previous politicians that believe in our democratic norm of not letting your malignant narcissism fail to allow you to admit to your own defeat.

The saddest part of Elder’s run, in my opinion, was watching and reading the racist attacks against him by the left. It really undermined any rhetoric you hear by the left about anti racism. Basically, it shows it’s all about power.

Overall, and speaking in general terms, I find that the left is at least as racist as the right.  The right may be more in your face (white supremacists, etc.) but the left is doing the damage.  The right has their racist extremists under control (usually); the left encourages theirs.

So, now the Democrats are calling it "Human Error."  Riiiiiight. Oh, how convenient.

"A video posted Sept. 15 on Instagram shows a CNN broadcast of the election results. In the foreground, Jordan Sarmo, the host of a conservative podcast called Speak Truth Without Fear, points to the vote count.

At the beginning of the clip, the broadcast shows about 2.2 million votes in favor of recalling Newsom. Then, the number updates to about 1.8 million.

"Boom. You're going to tell me there's not election fraud in this country," Sarmo says in the video. "We do not elect our politicians – we select them."

Here, I'll select some other parts of your link that you clearly chose to leave out...

"A vote count called in from a reporter stationed at the Santa Clara County office at 11:19 (p.m.) ET accidentally had the 'total vote' – Yes + No combined – for the recall race in the 'Yes' column, giving 'Yes' an extra 350,000 votes," Farbman said.

"Occasional corrections have been happening in network vote reporting for 50 years," Farbman said, "but recording election night (broadcasts) and searching for an error so you can call it 'fraud' is the new world we live in."

It is simply convenient how human errors when it comes to voting always manage to benefit the Democrats.  I know from personal experience that California voting is crooked, it's been crooked for a long time.  I'm not surprised by the outcome.  The Democrats have perfected their voting fraud system.  Nothing scares Democrats more than an honest election.

With twice as many registered voters, your claims of fraud are your own delusion.  You are right though, nothing scares the GOP more than an honest election since they have less people registered.

What a shame you haven't matured to the point where you can attack a topic and not a person.

However, the Democrat party does attract low IQ individuals with no class.  At one time, it actually had worthwhile people in their party, but...no more.

      Obviously.
