I agree with this ruling and appreciate Judge Clarence Thomas opinion on the Bill of Rights. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/suprem … -rcna17721

Yes, it's wonderful that our Supreme Court can get in the minds of the framers of the Constitution to continually reinterpret it. Such wisdom.  figuring out whether modern gun regulations are similar enough to laws that were passed 200 years ago was such a simple matter for them.  Divinely inspired for sure.  It is very comforting to know that we can and will have more guns in the general public from here on out.   We can all take comfort in the fact that as we are shopping and a typical dispute breaks out and each can draw a gun on each other. A decisive end for sure! Just remember to back away in time or for kicks draw your own gun right?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and bet you don't own a gun and may have never shot a gun.  I bet you've never faced a situation where a bad man with a gun was willing to end your life.

I've had all of those experiences.  I am here today because a good guy with a gun stopped a very bad man.  A man who had killed people earlier in the day.

Having these experiences give you unique perspective on things.

I support this Supreme Court decision 100 percent.

Your limb would have broken.  I was raised on a homestead in Missouri by anti government parents long before homesteads became fodder for "influencers".  We had an arsenal and all well aware of how to use a multitude of weapons.  My folks were libertarian to the extreme, off grid and have never adhered to any law or regulation and still hold those beliefs.  I've grown apart from that lifestyle for sure.  Oh and the good guys with guns sure did fail those kids in uvalde.

Really has nothing to do with being able to have a conceal carry permit.  That is the main point in the Supreme Court decision.  It just gives people in New York the opportunity to have and carry guns legally on the same level as the criminals who have guns illegally.

I will go out on the limb too and ask if you read the entire ruling. In the decision, you'll find some aspects you should favor and agree with. It's not all that black and white. Judge Thomas voiced wise words. We cannot mess with our Bill of Rights.

I totally agree with your wise analysis. Guns are used defensively a couple million times a year. They are the great equalizer for women and old people against vicious, strong, young men. "Shall not be infringed" is pretty clear language.

This is great news! It is encouraging to have a Supreme Court in place,  which adheres to the U.S. Constitution/Bill of Rights, rather than a finger to the wind, political climate test.

        Yes. I agree. It's refreshing.
