The President claims to be feeling well and will be working this weekend.

Biden tests positive for COVID in 'rebound' case, doctor says
Biden tested positive for a 'rebound' infection of COVID-19

President Biden tested positive for COVID-19 in a "rebound" case on Saturday, according to the White House.

"As described last week, acknowledging the potential for so-called ‘rebound’ COVID positivity observed in a small percentage of patients treated with PAXLOVID the President increased his testing cadence, both to protect people around him and to assure early detection of any return of viral replication," White House Doctor Dr. Kevin O'Connor said.

O'Connor said in the letter that Biden tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning, and Friday morning, but tested positive on Saturday morning by an antigen test.

The doctor says that the re-infection represents "rebound positivity" and said that Biden has not experienced a reemergence of symptoms, and there's no need to restart treatment.

It would appear that some that contract B5 quickly have rebound cases.
Dr.Fauci had this problem, he claimed to feel sicker with his rebound case.

My son has experienced the same pattern, he came down with B5, and had very mild symptoms that went away within three days. A week later he rebounded, and on the first day felt it would be mild as the first time around. O the second day he became very ill, and required antibiotics for his throat, and left lower lobe pneumonia.

It appears B5 acts differently than Omicron. Starts mild, in the throat, and makes its way into the lungs. It somewhat mimics the Delta strain by involving the lower respiratory system.

    Prayers coming your way Joe.

Regardless of the depths of our political debates, we can always count on your humanity to come to forefront.

To be a better human is a noteworthy goal, I wouldn't know if I could have the same well wish for my political adversaries.

I can say in my lifetime, that I have never witnessed another president hit with so many problems. His karma has been difficult throughout his life. I have empathy for this man, for many reasons. My hope is, that he will have many years to enjoy retirement.

I feel if he would have come in, given the country a bit of a respite, just a short period of rest or relief from something difficult or unpleasantries, he could have gone down as a man that healed the country in some respects.  I mean COVID alone had and has us all very fatigued.

Yes, many wanted him to get right at it. But, I think he had time to get to his agenda, and it would have been more acceptable if he had become a healer, instead of a divider.

I mean we are a work in progress are we not? A bit of time to heal over the turmoil may have done the Nation wonders.

We are always going to disagree as to the direction of his administration and his policies, regardless, you found in your soul the ability  to give "Old Joe" a break during his time of distress.

It's astonishing how many don't catch on that Trudeau had covid four times,  Biden twice, Fauci and even Trump and wife covid. What they all have in common is they are fully vaccinated and who promote vaccines most. From my experience, there is nobody more full of doooody caca than these horrible examples. Biden said you won't catch covid if we all take the vaccines. And they probably took the heavy saline ones. Can't imagine how bad the other categories of vaccines are having these side effects or should say, effects. Worse than many pharmaceutical drugs.

I actually know few in my family or circle of friends that have not had COVID, some twice.  My son had it twice, and have I.

Oddly enough, neither my spouse nor I have contracted the virus. I believe that some people have a greater propensity to be seriously affected by this over others. For a few, contracting has been a death sentence, while for others it is just a bad cold. I wonder if the differences can be solely attributed to age or relative health of the victims?

As we are no longer young people, her and I are duly cautious, wearing masks in public long after others have stopped. I believe that we are in a "new normal" and the masking thing has become the first line of defense as I am not confident that the underlying problems associated with the virus and its mutations are really under control.

My husband never contracted COVID either. Even being well exposed to it due to me having it twice.

          Have you been vaccinated?
I know no-one in my unvaxxed world who has even had covid at all. Just like when I took no flu shots as an adult and caught no flu. Ones that did shots always were getting the flu. Same story throughout history and same results until people get tired of being sick and tired.

Many people where I live (Brazil) are afraid of the vaccine and long term consequences. It would be easy enough for the WHO to publish information on this. They would just have to compare 10,000 people who took the vaccine to 10,000 who did not and list hospital admissions rates, secondary illnesses, and mortality.

Unfortunately all they want to do is publish that "the COVID vaccines are safe and cause no increased mortality the first week". The first week is not what people are worried about, although a forty-something guy in my area died yesterday, the day after getting vaccinated for Covid. Anecdotal, and probably just coinicidence, but there are no studies to prove this.

Biden said the vaccines are 100% safe. It must be true, it was said on television. Just ignore all the fat cats behind the curtains, they have everything all under control and now go back to sleep.
          Lol.

How can Brazilian stop touching each other. On the other hand, how dose anyone know anyone without touching them. The untouchable politicians, know this.
