What do you think? The Right Stuff dating site?

This could have been in the Gender & Relations or Business and Employment topics, but what the hey.

The dating app industry in 2021 amounted to 7.5 billion with an expected 5.5% annual growth rate. Users grew to 323 million world-wide and over 50 million in the U.S. Fourteen percent of users do get married. There are over 1,500 dating app sites with different shall we say specialties.

A new site, The Right Stuff, entered the fray for conservatives and is advertised as non-woke and the site landing page emphasizes users are not looking for Democrats. The opening video is women with no men sharing about the site. It was backed by billionaire Peter Thiel. It launched Sept. 30, so not long enough to assess at this time.

It had criticism before launching and seems to be a rocky start. There is another site with the same name intending on legal action about that saying they were sure the new site could come up with another creative name.

From Fox Business, "The Right Stuff was co-founded by former Trump administration officials John McEntee, Daniel Huff and Isaac Stalzer, who found from their dating experiences in Washington, D.C., and New York City that it was difficult to find other conservatives on traditional dating apps.

Then a conservative female friend of McEntee's mentioned that her girlfriends were frustrated trying to find conservative men and expressed that what they really wanted was a dating app geared toward young conservatives. That way, they could feel assured everyone on the site was of the same political persuasion."

Seems to me like a good idea and is just one more money making entrepreneural adventure capitalizing on either lonely people or those serious about a match made in a concept of heaven.

What do you think? Was it due time for this type of site? Do you think if successful other dating sites will offer conservative and liberal as part of the profile?

I saw this on a segment of Bill Maher's "new rules".

The Rightwinger is capable of anything, I could not imaging dating people like this. Much like the TV political ads where right wing candidate are riddling objects with bullets or blowing things up to prove to their viewing audience they are conservative.

      Quite primitive in my opinion.
