Is America ready for an atheistic, none(no religious affiliation), non-Christian, or just purely spiritual President?

I don't care what the President's religious preference is as long as he does attempt to impose it upon me and others.

No.  It will be many years before an avowed atheist, or any other religion except Christianity, will be seen in the White House.

As distasteful as it is, I could see a gradual movement to a state religion before I could see an atheistic President.  The religious far right is flexing its muscle...and winning.  We are seeing the desires of the evangelistic Christian take more and more control and it isn't slowing down.

In contrast, our current Conservative Prime Minister in the UK is a Sikh, of Indian origin; and the elected Lord Mayor of London is a Muslim.

With Britain having become a secular society in recent decades, not only do multi-faith churches in Britain welcome “all faiths and none” (includes atheists) but any relevant British Legislation have been amended in recent years (under the Conservatives) to read “all faiths and none” e.g. to be inclusive of atheists as well.

The only area remaining in Britain where there is still religious prejudice is within the Monarchy e.g. under the British Constitution it is illegal for a King or Queen to be Catholic.  However, King Charles III has a desire to make changes so that he is defender of faiths rather than defender of the faith.  Although his wishes maybe too late for his Coronation on 6th May because he’s been at loggerheads with the Church of England over this issue since last September, and to make any major changes to his Coronation Oath, the wording of which was enshrined in Legislation in 1688, would require the Government and Parliament changing the law – and there isn’t enough time to do so.

The full text of King Charles III oath is yet to be revealed, but as he will not be allowed to say “defender of faiths” (as he really wanted to), there is speculation that he might try to say something like “Defender of Faith” rather than the correct legal wording of “Defender of the Faith” e.g. under British law and the British Constitution “Defender of the Faith” means defender of the Church of England (Protestantism).

So it will be interesting in next month’s Coronation to see how far King Charles III manages to push the boundaries in his Coronation Oath.

I think it would be hard for a non-christian to be the President of the USA.                                                  Not even a spiritualist person. I recalled  the time boxing great or legend before the late 1990's, Muhammend Ali, shot for the presidency, and fail.                                                  Look at Kamala Harry, she's Hindi? Could she succeed biden, as many expected?                                Critically, and seriously, America, found on the basis of Christian faith. Christopher Columbus, was a Roman Catholic. Subsequent major arrivals were on the basis of chritian missions. So it would be hard for a non-christian to be president, when pockets of other religions aplenty.

Right now the Christian religion is being seen as a tyrannical authority.
If someone is white, Christian and Conservative they are the enemy.

But, being the enemy is the last thing on their minds!

"Is America ready for an atheistic, none, (no religious affiliation), non-Christian, or just purely spiritual President?"

    The answer is, Yes.
And if you are not ready, you better get ready, because it will be coming.

    Like it or not.

Why the continued ignorance of Christ and the blessings he brought through the love of God??

The cult of Ego will be the result of a one religion where Spirit is just a universal concept.
    In my opinion.

        No, they certainly are not!

And why would they resist such a wonderful new religion?
