An apocalypse—the word literally means an “uncovering” or “unveiling” in Greek—was both a type of revelatory experience and a type of revelatory literature, one that not only provided comfort to its original audience but also held out the promise of future glory to believers in every age.

OMG, Thanks for sharing this... It works to put a finger or should I say point a finger at wokeness.   I hope everyone that stops in will take the time to check out this video.  This woman has truely captured the meaning of today's woke population.

I think we are weary of the word, apocalypse.
      Also you gave homework.

Why is this topic important to you?
      We pretty much hate it.
(~ not speaking for everyone or anyone except myself, of course.)

PS "We" may also be weary of your spelling inaccuracies.

Please do not give up on this forum.  As a society we should be aware of the Woke movement, it is not only non-sensical but very dangerous.

We see the woke ideologies taking hold. Non-sensical thinking,  right is wrong, and wrong is right thinking.

If we don't wake up (LOL) we will live with the consequences of woke ideologies.

Perhaps you are interested in "the promise of future glory to believers in every age."

What is your vision for the future, Castlepaloma?
( ...besides the varied and widespread use use of hemp products which you have already discussed with us.)

What is my vision for the future?

I envision an age where freedom is preserved, understood and valued.
I believe that only through freedom, can joy of life be obtained by every individual.
    Freedom is the important thing.
    Not equity.

I believe someday we will understand and embrace the concept of Equality of Opportunity for every individual based on the God given rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

I believe it will be better on this continent, eventually.
In what ways, is the question.
    - how much will perish?
    - how much will be preserved?
    - what will perish?
    - what will be preserved?
    - what should manifest?
    - what should not?

Thank you very much for sharing the video, castlepaloma.
It really, truly explains so much.
It is very relevant to problems I am having with people in my life and with how I am starting to feel.
Now that I am conscious of why, I am again free to think for myself and live happily.
People, beware of the new "woke culture."

    It has to perish.

Wokeism, some see as an update of 1960s cultural Marxism fads. Some attribute it and feel that it is just a return to 1980s-style political correctness.

However,  In my view, I described wokeism as the cruel creed that is really trying to destroy the lives of people of both genders, of all races, and—if need be—those of every age, all to leverage an otherwise totally unworkable ideological agenda.

It is a nihilist and destroys everything it comes in contact with. It tears apart foes and friends alike, whether by fueling media-driven hatred or faux-deification of who they see fit their bill.

This ideology is very much something to fear, in my opinion.

This speaker makes excellent observations about our society and the struggles to have honest, unthreatening discourse.

That has nothing to do with "wokeness".
