    Hello Brenda,
Your poem is reflective of the present times, especially with reference to the TV debates. The arguments and conflicts can only make matters worse. I avoid watching such programs, but it’s all over. I agree with you that it’s a complete waste of energy, and has no value.
Thank you for drawing attention to the problem of anger and hate among people.
    Thank you for sharing.

      Thank you Chitrangada.

I agree.  It gets so one has to just turn off the television for awhile.

I wish there was a solution to the anger.

Excellant poem Brenda.Nasty people can be found everywhere, and they would try their best to incite anger within us. However, we should handle the emotions calmly and avoid falling into their trap. Thanks for writing this timely message

    Thanks, Chitrangada, for sharing.

      Thanks Ravi.

It seems those with that much hate don't want to go alone.
They try so hard to pull everyone in with them.

Remaining calm and ignoring them is the best for now.

      Ravi...
It amazes me how easy it is to incite anger in other people.

      Our world is in trouble.

If only they would take all that energy and use it to focus on helping people who really need their help.

In my little area, there seems to be so many people who are mixed up...recently someone was attacked with an axe.

Then a few hours away...a man killed his 3 sons.

I guess another poem or story is brewing on these acts of violence.

You wrote about a topic we should all adress, Brenda. There is so much anger anymore. The poem is excellent, and I agree with all the words you wrote. we should focus of God, no man's actions.

Thanks for posting Brenda's poem, Chitrangada.

      Pamela...
I'm so tired of seeing and hearing about all the hatred in this world.

I would rather people realize that none of it matters in the end and just start focusing on what does...
      God's promise to us.

      Pamela...
Basically I'm tired of listening to the news and seeing people get all sparked up.
They immediately want to defend people they dont even know just to make a point.

I honestly think people are so brainwashed that they no longer think for themselves.

It's time we stop and think...what is really important in our own lives.

      Pamela...
I think we need to write more about this also.
This world is getting angrier every day.

You are right, Brenda, bullies and rude people initiate anger in innocent people, who should keep their cool and be in control and not get equally angry. I love the message in your poem, which is already happening in the world. The quote at the end rounds up your article fittingly.
    Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Chitrangada, for sharing Brenda's post.

      Rosina...
So glad you like this one and that it truly relates to what is happening in the world.

Some people keep their cool, but there are still alot who join in and follow....causing more anger & hatred to spread.

      Glad you liked the message.

      Have a great weekend.

Thank you.   I'm happy to know you agree.

Now if we could only find an easy and simple solution.

      John...
People are so worried about issues that rarely matter or really make a difference in our lives...that we often miss what is right in front of us.

Like a neighbor who might need help.

    I second that Ms Brenda.
This behaviour isn't worthy of our power.

    I agree with Lamine Pearlheart.

Thank you Ms Sharan for sharing, hugs!!!

That is quite a powerful quote...

      Is able to control you"

Brenda, unfortunately, events and some people in today's world indulge in cancel culture. This is one of the root causes of the anger and angst we see today.

      Ravi...
      What is cancel culture?

I looked this up and the definition gave me this:

For those of you who aren't aware, cancel culture refers to the mass withdrawal of support from public figures or celebrities who have done things that aren't socially accepted today. This practice of "canceling" or mass shaming often occurs on social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.

Yes, Brenda Cancel culture has become the new viral trend of showing anger without understanding the facts. It works just like a herd mentality. One person incites all, and all follow them and do mass protests. This mass channeling of anger has become one of the root causes of riots and unrest today.

Thanks for explaining this for me Ravi.

This is indeed what happens...I just had no idea there was a term for it.

I'm seeing so many posts online though...seems everyone wants to keep spreading rumors & hate.
