"WASHINGTON — A bombshell FBI informant file containing a $10 million bribery allegation against President Biden and his son was released Thursday by Sen. Chuck Grassley, showing that a Ukrainian oligarch claimed he was “coerced” into making the payoff.

The owner of Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings, Mykola Zlochevsky, told the FBI informant in 2016 during a meeting at a coffee shop in Vienna, Austria, that “it cost 5 [million] to pay one Biden, and 5 [million] to another Biden,” according to the redacted FD-1023 form.

“Zlochevsky made some comment that although Hunter Biden ‘was stupid, and his (Zlochevsky’s) dog was smarter,’ Zlochevsky needed to keep Hunter Biden (on Burisma’s board) ‘so everything will be okay,'” the document says.

According to the report, the source then inquired whether Hunter Biden or Joe Biden told Zlochevsky he should “retain” the younger Biden; Zlochevsky replied, “They both did.”

In an addendum to the report from June 2020, the source told investigators that Zlochevsky claimed to have 17 recordings of conversations with the Bidens — two of which involved Joe.

The source added that Zlochevsky was convinced the recordings and other evidence show he was “somehow coerced into paying the Bidens to ensure Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was fired.”

It’s unclear when exactly the alleged payments would have been made by Burisma, which first added Hunter Biden to its board in April 2014 as his dad assumed control of the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy.

Although he has repeatedly claimed he never discussed business with his son, then-Vice President Joe Biden met with his son’s partner Devon Archer in 2014 around the time both Hunter Biden and Archer joined the Burisma board, according to Obama White House visitor logs.

Joe Biden also met with Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi at an April 16, 2015, dinner at DC’s Cafe Milano, as revealed in The Post’s first bombshell report in October 2020 on the contents of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.

Grassley (R-Iowa), who released a redacted version of the four-page document, asked in a statement, “What did the Justice Department and FBI do with the detailed information in the document? And why have they tried to conceal it from Congress and the American people for so long?”

Nothing new in this report.  I am just pleased Grassley won out over the FBI and DOJ  that conceal it from Congress and the American people for so long.

Just more dirt on Hunter that floated to the top. It is a legitimate document neither the DOJ nor the FBI has denied that.  The context of the document tells me he was selling his dad. Thats my view.

I will agree to disagree all the information the two Whisleblowwrs offered were first-hand, and the meeting Shapley claimed 6 others were in the meeting with Weiss. I would think these agents could be subpoenas, they would certainly be arrested after Shapley made mentioned that they were present and could either verify or dispute his claims.

At this point, I certainly feel the evidence is piling up, and we need Weiss under oath, as well as anyone that was in the meeting Shapley spoke of. Both agents were very well versed and offered facts about tax felony crimes they claim they found.

I feel they were very credible.

They shared their experiences, what they found while conducting an investigation, and yes, pointed out that in many incidents they were not able to do their job due to being given orders. Actually, Weiss has written three letters. Jordan read excerpts from all three at the start of the hearing. Each letter walks back to his first statement.  As I said, I feel Weiss needs to clarify his  3 letters, as well as the meeting that Shapley spoke about at the hearing.

One thig stands out and it stands out very clearly due to Shapley's testimony under oath. --    Shapley’s account was never shaken, he repeated that Weiss had told a room full of agents that the Justice Department had refused to grant him special counsel authority and that he was being blocked from filing felony tax charges against Hunter by Biden-appointed U.S. attorneys in Washington, D.C., and California.   Weiss is now in the hot seat, he can accuse Shapley of not being truthful -- which could set off any of the other 6 agents in the room to step up and verify Shapley's account or he can say he lied to the agents at that said meeting.  I don't personally think these agents are not being truthful. Both have wonderful records and have worked on some of the biggest cases that the IRS has investigated. Both were well-spoken and unflappable when questioned. Both well versed in tax law, and how to recognize tax crimes. I would not think Weiss will take the fall on this.

Jordan, quoted from all three letters. Are any of the letters posted in full?  If not how can you say with good confidence that "Jordan mischaracterized the letters?  If you have found the full letter please supply the link.

In my view, we have two different accounts thus far, Shapley, and Weiss. Thus far Weiss has not given an account under oath in front of Congress. Shapley has. I have no reason to think he led, he has put forth 6 others in the room. He has pretty much put them in a spot, that most likely will have them called in for interviews.  And Weiss will be dragged in I would think soon to be put under oath.

I can't dispute anything Raskin said, I have not had the benefit of seeing the letters. I think Raskin made a point when he said it was up to the prosecutorial branch to decide to charge Hunter if they felt they could win a case. The statute of limitations had run out on some of the tax felonies the investigators found. So there would be no ground to charge. The whistleblower's issue was they felt they were stimied to their jobs at many junctures.

At any rate, I am more than sure we will see more and more documents, emails, and maybe even recordings that are incriminating in regard to Hunter Biden.  This is a big political club to hit the other side with.

Yup. And some of them have been open about it. It is not about the truth, but to manipulate the voters. Even Grassley admits it. Grassley said he released the document so that the American people can "read this document for themselves without the filter of politicians or bureaucrats."

Guilty or not, they have no evidence of anything. But some people wont care. They'll believe and repeat whatever their party says.

House Oversight Committee Republicans were admonished by the FBI several times ahead of taking the action the bureau warned against — publicly releasing unverified information gained through a confidential informant.

The tip from the source — memorialized in an FD-1023 form — was never corroborated by the FBI, but it was nonetheless put into the public sphere Thursday as Republicans released what they see as central evidence into whether then-Vice President Biden accepted a bribe.

The release comes after committee members were told “the FBI expressly does not consent to the materials’ public disclosure or further dissemination” and that “the contents of the materials should not be discussed or shared in any form with anyone beyond Members and staff,” according to a disclaimer obtained by The Hill presented to lawmakers before viewing the form.

“Throughout the FBI’s engagements with Congress, we have been guided by our obligation to protect the physical safety of confidential human sources and the integrity of sensitive investigations.  We have repeatedly explained to Congress, in correspondence and in briefings, how critical it is to keep this source information confidential,” the FBI said in a Thursday statement.

“The safeguards the FBI placed on the production of this information are necessary to protect the safety of confidential sources and the integrity of sensitive investigations,” the statement said. “Today’s release of the 1023 — at a minimum — unnecessarily risks the safety of a confidential source.”

"Grassley Obtains & Releases FBI Record Alleging VP Biden Foreign Bribery Scheme --  Grassley, Comer to continue joint inquiry into FBI handling of significant, politically charged investigations

WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) today released an unclassified FBI-generated record describing an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a Ukrainian business executive. Grassley acquired the record, an FD-1023, via legally protected disclosures by Justice Department whistleblowers.

“For the better part of a year, I’ve been pushing the Justice Department and FBI to provide details on its handling of very significant allegations from a trusted FBI informant implicating then-Vice President Biden in a criminal bribery scheme. While the FBI sought to obfuscate and redact, the American people can now read this document for themselves, without the filter of politicians or bureaucrats, thanks to brave and heroic whistleblowers. What did the Justice Department and FBI do with the detailed information in the document? And why have they tried to conceal it from Congress and the American people for so long? The Justice Department and FBI have failed to come clean, but Chairman Comer and I intend to find out,” Grassley said.

“The FBI’s Biden Bribery Record tracks closely with the evidence uncovered by the Oversight Committee’s Biden family influence peddling investigation. In the FBI’s record, the Burisma executive claims that he didn’t pay the ‘big guy’ directly but that he used several bank accounts to conceal the money. That sounds an awful lot like how the Bidens conduct business: using multiple bank accounts to hide the source and total amount of the money,” House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer said. “At our hearing with IRS whistleblowers, they testified that they had never seen or heard of this record during the Biden criminal investigation, despite having potentially corroborating evidence. Given the misconduct and politicization at the Department of Justice, the American people must be able to read this record for themselves. I thank Senator Grassley for providing much needed transparency to the American people. We must hold the Department of Justice accountable for seeking to bury this record to protect the Bidens.”

Grassley first disclosed the FBI’s possession of significant and voluminous evidence of potential criminality involving the Biden family last year. He has since worked to unearth the FBI record, eventually partnering with Comer on a subpoena to compel its public disclosure. After delays, the FBI provided a highly redacted version of the document to select members of the House of Representatives, but it remained shielded from the public and omitted key details, including references to recordings. Following the FBI’s failure to fully comply with the congressional subpoena, Grassley received the legally protected disclosure with limited redactions to protect a trusted FBI source, handling agents, department whistleblowers and identifiers related to other ongoing investigations.

        Read the FD-1023

        ‘Poluchili’
According to the FBI’s confidential human source, executives for Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company, brought Hunter Biden on the board to “protect us through his dad, from all kinds of problems.” At the time, Burisma was seeking to do business in the United States, but was facing a corruption investigation in Ukraine, led by then-Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. Regarding that investigation’s impact on its ambitions in North America, Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky reportedly said, “Don't worry Hunter will take care of all of those issues through his dad.” Zlochevsky reportedly stated that he had to pay $5 million to Hunter Biden and $5 million to Joe Biden, an arrangement he described as ‘poluchili,’ which is Russian crime slang for being “forced or coerced to pay,” according to the document.

        “Back-up”

Zlochevsky claimed to have many text messages and recordings that show that he was coerced into paying the Bidens to ensure Shokin was fired. Specifically, he claimed to have two recordings with Joe Biden and 15 recordings with Hunter Biden. Zlochevsky also retained two documents, presumably financial records, as evidence of the arrangement, but said he didn’t send any funds directly to the “Big Guy,” a term understood to be a reference to Joe Biden. References to the “Big Guy” surfaced in communications involving other Biden family business arrangements independent of the Burisma arrangement. Zlochevsky claimed it would take investigators 10 years to uncover the illicit payments to the Bidens, according to the document."
