Nikki Haley, clearly the winner.  She came across as most logical and sensible. The rest? Honestly seems like they had a  stick up their a**. Incredibly fake and insincere. Ramaswamy seems like a comical caricature.   The moderators,  in true Fox fashion focused on a tiny slice of the pie while ignoring many other factors that contribute to any issue but that's a given. The big loser? Ron DeSantis.  Totally a deer in the headlights.  Points for those, Hutchinson, Haley and Christi who actually spoke the truth about Trump.

Watching this debate was difficult and felt like an assault on my intelligence actually. I feel like I lost IQ points.  All In all, none of them convinced me that they would be best to run this country and bring people together in 2024.  What does everyone else think?

I tuned in at 10:28 and out at 10:40. I'm sure if there were good highlights that I missed (your mentions), CNN will show them tomorrow.

In my view,  solely depending on the media for information about presidential candidates can have several negative consequences.

Media outlets can have biases, whether intentional or not, which can lead to a skewed presentation of candidates' policies and actions. Sensationalism often dominates headlines, focusing on dramatic or controversial aspects rather than substantive policy discussions, leading to a shallow understanding of candidates' positions.

Media coverage may not provide a comprehensive view of candidates' platforms, as they often prioritize certain stories over others due to ratings and public interest   TV and online media frequently present information in bite-sized portions, making it difficult to understand complex policy matters fully. This can hinder the development of informed opinions on candidates' stances on crucial issues. In a presidential race, media attention tends to concentrate on the most prominent candidates. This can overshadow other candidates who might have valuable perspectives and policy ideas to offer.

In my view -- Some media such as CNN cater to specific audiences and reinforce existing beliefs, contributing to political polarization. Relying solely on CNN can lead to a narrow-minded understanding of the candidates and their policies.

However, you have every right to your thoughts. I just shared mine to offer another's view on the importance of getting to know presidential candidates.

Fox as well. I'm not surprised that my Fox faithful Friends are often completely unaware of many issues or only have a tiny piece of an issue.
Never good to remain in a news bubble.
