Explaining the Existential Threat of the Woke Regime by Tom Klingenstein at his website.
    https://tomklingenstein.com/the-war/

On that landing page is an Executive Summary, the essay, and a four part video series sharing the concepts/information. They average 4 minutes each.

"We are living amidst a cold civil war. This is a war not over the size of government or taxes, but over the American way of life. This war is between those who are convinced that America is inherently good and worth defending and those who are convinced that America is evil."

    I agree 100%. Great read.
    My favorite part:
Abraham Lincoln once said, "if ever I feel the soul within me elevate and expand to those dimensions not wholly unworthy of its Almighty Architect, it is when I contemplate the cause of my country deserted by all the world…and I standing up boldly and alone…hurling defiance at [our] victorious oppressors. Here, without contemplating consequences,…I swear eternal fidelity to the just cause…of the land of my life, my Liberty, and my love…. But if after all, we shall fail, be it so. We still shall have the proud consolation of saying to our consciences,…we never faltered."

      Thanks, AB.

I took note of that quote too. Curious I sought it out. I arrived upon it is from a campaign speech in 1840. The full context follows:

"The probability that we may fall in the struggle, ought not to deter us from the support of a cause which we deem to be just; It shall not deter me. If ever I feel the soul within me elevate and expand to those dimensions not wholly unworthy of its Almighty Architect, it is when I contemplate the cause of my country, deserted by all the world besides, and I standing up boldly and alone, and hurling defiance at her victorious oppressors. Here, without contemplating consequences, before high Heaven, and in the face of the world, I swear eternal fidelity to the just cause, as I deem it, of the land of my life, my liberty, and my love. And who, that thinks with me, will not fearlessly adopt the oath that I take. Let none falter, who thinks he is right, and we may succeed. But, if after all we shall fall, be it so. We shall have the proud consolation of saying to our conscience, and to the departed shade of our country's freedom, that the course approved by our judgment and adored by our hearts in disaster, in chains, in torture, in death, we never faltered in defending."

I take into consideration the era historically with all the dynamics taking place.

"The GOP must understand we're in a war. War is not a time for too much civility, compromise, or for imputing good motives to the enemy. Our generals must fight as if the choice were between liberty & death. This is no time for sunshine patriots."

Enough for me to not waste my time. Yuck.

Well, I've been saying the like now for a couple of years (at the least).

    Quote:
Equal everything is what the woke regime calls social justice. Any disparities, say the woke, are due to racism and nothing else. If, as the woke contend, racism has insinuated itself in every nook and cranny of the American way of life, then quite obviously, it is necessary to throw out that way of life. This is why there simply can be no peace between the woke regime and the American regime. In a free society like America there will always be group outcome differences, particularly between men and women. Eliminating such group outcome differences, as the woke comms aim to do, can only be achieved at the expense of freedom.

As I often say, Equality, Merit, Property Rights, Right to Protect Yourself, Right to Free Speech... cannot co-exist with Equity, Quotas, Racism, DEI and the 'Woke" agenda they are determined to push.

Considering Social Justice, DEI and CRT is all being pushed by the most powerful individuals (IE - Larry Fink & Bill Gates) and pillars of society (Universities & MSM & Biden Administration) one has to expect that the complete transfer over to a Totalitarian controlled Corporatocracy is a matter of IF not WHEN.

When they have fully rolled out Digital Wallets and CBDC, when they track who you are and what you say and do every moment of every day (which they can do today with cell phones and computers) perhaps some day soon a chip connected to the brain allowing complete access to you 24/7... it is hard to imagine they won't be able to enact total control over anyone's life at any time.

Yup! Technology today is frightening, at least for me, though I do take advantage of it with the means I have. Having been in the medical world the last couple of years I am totally amazed to the point of being flabbergasted with what someone sitting somewhere envisioned to 'help' people with a medical problem.

For instance the External Beam Radiation therapy I underwent for prostate cancer. The machine was like something out of StarTrek or StarWars. I am discombobulated wondering how someone thought that up. Amazing! And, it works and has proven itself over and over and over.

However, it was in the right hands. Technology in the wrong hands, well, shit . . . what'cha gon'na do?

"Woke" is just a new way to insult those who do not think, look, or act exactly like you.

It is for some, but for many others, it is a label for a basket of issues that are generally defined and named by the label "Woke."

As an example, and not a barb, Mention Hillary's 'basket of deplorables' and I bet both sides—in and out, know the point intended.

Same thing for woke. Both sides know what is meant, and, like the deplorable basket, one side will immediately say the other side is wrong and doesn't know what it's talking about.

CRT means one thing to the general public and another to academia.  So the argument is there, but also there is the instant recognition of the issue. Same with DEI, transgender, et al.

But . . . even though it is probably used more as an insult than a label, it does its job and shouldn't be on a list of 'taboo' (in polite company) words.
