From this morning's Daily Caller newsletter arrives Trump vs. the Blob for your reading pleasure and pondering. Enjoy!
"Good morning, Caller Army!
We’ve got a humdinger for you today, so strap on your helmets and mold your mouthpieces.
And remember, share this newsletter with your friends. Forward it to your intransigent, purple-haired nephews in their second year of college even!
With that, I give you …
TRUMP VS THE BLOB
Trump isn’t running against Kamala Harris, not in reality, and it’s kind of brilliant when you think about it.
Much has been made recently about how Harris has flip-flopped on a host of issues. Nationalized medicine, fracking bans, electric vehicle mandates and even (gasp, dear reader!) the border wall!
But … has she flip-flopped? The answer, surprisingly, is a resounding no.
Friend and former colleague Ryan Saavedra laid it out just yesterday. “All of these stories rely on unnamed aides claiming she’s changed. Harris has never said any of this herself,” he wrote.
Fox News got close weeks earlier, pegging the flip-flops to “faceless surrogates.”
And there’s the rub, does Kamala have to own anything she hasn’t actually said? With utter certitude, no. And that’s the brilliance of this newly transformed campaign: The media is happy to give it a microphone, but literally none of it can be attributed to the candidate herself.
It’s the transformation that didn’t actually happen.
The one policy Harris – newly moderate, the blob tells us – has voiced uniquely on her own was a government takeover of grocery prices.
Trump is not running against Harris. He’s running against the “faceless” blob. This should come as no surprise in the wake of Joe Biden’s candidacy and presidency. Biden is not in charge of the White House and Kamala is not in charge of her campaign.
If she were, she’d be losing.
And the blob – a faceless, sprawling Democratic machine that deepened its grip on power under Obama, did everything it could to undermine Trump, and provided just enough election hijinks to get Biden elected – can’t win if it actually turned things over to the likes of Kamala.
Why else is she sitting for her first off-script interview with CNN’s Dana Bash (who was once married to the blob), for a TAPED (which presumably means edited) interview, accompanied by Gov. Tim Walz?
Harris can’t do anything without “Training Walz,” my colleague Vince Coglianese quipped.
There are so many guardrails on this interview, it’s hard to imagine Kamala breaching them (although I, like the blob probably, am holding my breath). CNN’s going to have to work overtime to maintain some semblance of credibility after this, for whatever it’s worth.
So if Trump isn’t running against Kamala, what is this faceless entity trying to get elected in her name?
It’s the media corporations pining for access to power, the same fawning goons who insist to America that Kamala is the next Obama. It’s the intelligence community. It’s the warmongers. It’s the permanent bureaucracy in Washington and beyond. It’s the Obama World masterminds, Obama himself, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, hell we can even throw Hakeem Jeffries in there. It’s the dystopian “disinformation” complex and the hopelessly broken education system, the wealthy union bosses and racist “Diversity” acolytes, it’s that twisted, deranged mess of navel gazers in Hollywood. It’s even parts of the GOP establishment, who deeply hate Donald Trump’s guts and secretly want contributor contracts for MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
In short, it’s everything powerful and wrong in America … versus Donald Trump.
And it’s a surprise that given all that, the race is still anyone’s game.
Did the article tell it like it is?
Thoughts, criticisms, accolades, and/or commentary?
First, this former colleague Ryan Saavedra who I assume is a small part of the blob is spreading propaganda.
The claim that Kamala Harris has never flip-flopped on key issues like nationalized medicine, fracking bans, or the border wall is misleading. To counter this argument, one only needs to check out various video clips available on platforms like YouTube, where Harris has made statements that contradict her current positions. These clips show her expressing support for policies such as the Green New Deal and Medicare for All during the Democratic primaries, only to later modify her stance when she became Joe Biden's running mate. So, if anyone chooses to believe otherwise, believe the "blob" it would seem it would be that individual who has a skewed mindset. Not much can be done about a person who chooses to believe a media that is controlled by the Blob. I must ask what does this say ultimately about some in our society. These blob followers seem to have little interest in facts, and can blindly like "zombies" ignore what is in front of them.
The article has a friend and former colleague Ryan Saavedra claim that Harris's alleged policy shifts are simply attributed to "faceless surrogates" or "unnamed aides". He fails to acknowledge that Harris herself has publicly made statements that contradict her current campaign messaging. The evidence of her changing positions isn't based on hearsay or anonymous sources; it is well-documented in her own words and available for anyone to examine. This shows that the narrative of a "faceless blob" managing her campaign disregards the factual record of Harris's statements and actions. The blob is big and far-reaching.
I think many would agree that others (the blob) are making decisions for the current president, and the same blob is likely running Harris's campaign. There isn’t much more to say about that. It’s surprising to see how many Americans support this blob, and seem content with how the mysterious blob serves their needs. Honestly, at this point, I’m more frustrated by the "new mentality" that some Americans have adopted. It feels pointless to try and make sense to those who, in my view, have little of it.
Welcome to a new nation where many people are content consuming droppings from the blob, eating up the slimy propaganda and mistruths, eagerly consuming it and becoming complacent followers of the blob, and thriving on accepting whatever they're told.
It's because their brains are blobby due to blobby eductions and blobby MSM. Long Live the BLUE BLOB. What will it take for them to step away from the blue Blob? Four years of Harris-Walz?
Sorry, couldn't help but chime in.
Ryan Saavedra is a reporter for the Daily Wire run by Ben Shapiro. Allsides puts the Daily Wire at far right for media bias.
I must apologize for my earlier comment; I realize now that I took the story out of context. I tried to find a link to the article but couldn't locate it. After rereading it, I see that my initial reaction was completely off base. I'm not familiar with the Daily Wire, so I don't know much about its ideologies.
The "blob" theory does seem quite plausible, though. I haven't yet heard Harris discuss why she's changed her stance on many leftist views, which should be interesting if she can explain her reasons. I assume the "blob" has crafted some compelling explanations for the interview she recorded with CNN that will air tonight. By the morning the blobs analogies will be well eaten, digested, and vomited up all over social media as well as left media.
I appreciate the term 'the blob.' I've always just thought of it as the Deep State. or a corrupt cabal.
The story provided in the OP was copy/pasted from the 08/28 the Daily Caller newsletter. There was no article. It may be slightly confusing as there is the Daily Caller and the Daily Wire, which both are far right media sources per Allsides. I get the Daily Caller newsletter. The Daily Wire is a subscription only service I think.
Some of the writers for the Daily Wire are;
Ben Shapiro
Dr. Jordon B. Peterson
Matt Walsh
Michael Knowles
The Daily Wire does documentaries, films, and videos too. Some are available on YouTube. You may like to watch the following' What is a Woman lecture by Matt Walsh provided by Hilllsdale College. (13:52 min.) What is a Woman was a film by Matt Walsh.

Hillsdale college is "Hillsdale College is a small, Christian, classical liberal arts college in southern Michigan that operates independently of government funding. Our students come from nearly all of the United States and a dozen foreign countries, and drawn to the challenge of a Hillsdale education, they grow in heart and mind by studying timeless truths in a supportive community dedicated to the highest things."
They have an free online 10 week course I plan on taking; Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of the Constitution
https://online.hillsdale.edu/courses/pr … gLz_fD_BwE
If you are not aware already, Hillsdale publishes a small pamphlet (I think monthly). If you request it, they will send one, free, periodically. Nearly always worth a read, and usually from a Conservative point of view.
Thanks!
I'll look into it later. They have several online 'Free' courses I am interested in. I like to keep myself occupied while learning. They have one on Dante I am interested in. Plus, the Constitution 101 class.
The Constitution class is one I'd be interested in as well. I was going to take something a few months ago, but we left the country during the class so didn't make it.
Imprimis, the publication is called. 10 issues per year - I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this story of "Trump vs The Blob". It is quite interesting and entertaining. But, I have no thoughts or commentary.
Smart.
Lets call the BLOB those that support the 'transformation' we see ongoing in the West (IE BlackRock/Larry Fink's multi-trillion dollar emphasis on DEI), AKA Agenda 2030.
And those who oppose it, like Musk, Trump, half of America's Citizenry.
I don't typically enjoy any stories, movies, books, etc. which involve any type of "BLOB", but I like this story, it makes sense.
Did you ever see the 1958 movie, 'The Blob', with Steve McQueen? They did a remake of it in 1988.
Parts and pieces was enough for me. What was Steve McQueen thinking?
I remember watching the Blob as a kid in the sixties. I was somewhere between 6 - 8 years of age I would speculate. I know I was young. It scared the bejebers out of me. I watched it with my sister a year older than me.

worth repeating:
The Blob, defined:
"It’s the media corporations pining for access to power, the same fawning goons who insist to America that Kamala is the next Obama.
It’s the intelligence community.
It’s the warmongers.
It’s the permanent bureaucracy in Washington and beyond.
It’s the Obama World masterminds.
It's Obama himself, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries.
It’s the dystopian “disinformation” complex.
It's the hopelessly broken education system.
It's the wealthy union bosses and racist “Diversity” acolytes.
It’s that twisted, deranged mess of navel gazers in Hollywood.
It’s even parts of the GOP establishment, who deeply hate Donald Trump’s guts and secretly want contributor contracts for MSNBC’s Morning Joe."

Both Donald Trump and JD Vance have held press conferences and spent time answering questions from reporters. Kamala Harris has done none of it. Why is she hiding from the press? Why is she and Walz afraid of holding a press conference. They seem great giving speeches off...

Before anyone else opens a forum about this, and I know the debate is still going on. However assuming you saw this thread after the debate, who do you think won? Did Biden beat Trump? Or do you think Trump owned Biden in the debate? Please discuss.
