Where did today's Democratic Party get its current values and ideology?

I stumbled across documentaries that explained the events on the Evergreen campus 8 years ago, and I think they do a great job dispelling the confusion of what the Democrat Party stands for today, and where it will steer the country in the coming years.

This is a excerpt of the event, a reminder:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cMYfxOFBBM

THIS is where you should start, to truly comprehend:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0W9QbkX8Cs

The other parts of the Documentary:
Part One: The Evergreen Equity Council
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH2WeWgcSMk
    Part Three: The Hunted Individual
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vyBLCqyUes

To summarize, it is the advocation for the destruction of ALL the institutions of society and ALL its norms, because they were all borne out of whiteness and the patriarchy.  The entire system, every aspect of it, every bit of what is considered normal or moral or good must be torn asunder so that Equity can be achieved.

If you think the Democrat Party has anything short of completely remodeling the United States of America, to include doing away with it as a Sovereign Nation state unbeholden to higher (international) authorities, you would be mistaken.

Further documentaries to gain a wider perspective:

These videos were produced/created between 4 and 8 years ago.

In 2016 it was on Universities like Evergreen where this extremist activity took hold, today our government is awash in it.   The Democratic Party embodies it.

What is your opinion on how the Evergreen uprising compares to what we see the current Administration trying to implement throughout our government?

That anyone would believe these are tenets of the Democratic Party is their own delusion.

      What is Equity?

What has the Biden Administration pushed throughout the government?

Great stuff and all, I would rather have had negotiations with Russia instead of hundreds of thousands dead and hundreds of billions in wasted tax dollars... or not allowing Iran the billions to fund Hamas and the Houthis and Hezbollah with... but hey, priorities.

Wow, so this administration recognizes trans and gay people and tries to prevent the discrimination of them.  How radical (rolls eyes).  That you see that as a negative speaks volumes.  But you do tend to attack that community very often in these forums.  Someday, maybe we should delve into that psychologically.

And while Biden is a little further to the extreme than I would be on making up for decades of racial discrimination in the workplace, we grew up in difference generations.  He lived through a different level than what we might have experienced today and, therefore, he could be more sensitive to the plight that minorities have undertaken.

Yeah, some of us have common sense, to add to their life experiences abroad, so they can see through the BS.

The wonderful efforts of Equity, CRT and Social Justice are not used to empower those who have been victimized in life's eat or be eaten world.

They are the tools which are currently being used to destroy not just the pillars our society is based upon, but the foundation as well.

Not so the world can be a better place for all, that is simplistic and foolish to hope for.  Those with true wealth and power want to maintain it, they want to add to it... the world is not enough.

It is not about maintaining the International balance, it is not about ensuring American sovereignty, it is literally about building a new future, unburdened by what has been.

It is about ending the experiment of enlightenment, of Individualism and Liberty and Justice for the individual, removing rights and liberties promised to each individual citizen and subjugating them to the higher good, the collective, the sacrifice of the one for the many... and the many for the few (elite).

We will have global citizens, no more Bill of Rights, no more Constitution being the law of the land, those must be supplanted by an international law and order, one that controls those nations that fall under "the West"... those that choose BRICS will have a different law and order they adhere to.

This will cause many unexpected hardships that the current elites in control have not anticipated, and their technologies to monitor and control individuals will prove to be ineffective, there will be a great many people who will detach and disconnect from the Internet and Cell phones and work as counter-revolutionaries against it all.

The entire western world will look much like the Middle East does today, chaotic with eruptions of violence and inhumane treatment of entire groups of individuals like we see in Gaza today and have seen in Egypt, Libya and elsewhere in recent years.

        How?

How?  We are literally at best a handful of years away from this being completed.

We are a crisis or two away from Digital Wallets replacing Cash and needing an Ap that proves what vaccines you have along with your Social Credit status being needed to travel beyond your State.

They don't need to do much at all... how many young Americans even know what the first and second Amendments in the Constitution are?

I bet you there are over 20 million non-citizens in America today that couldn't care less and that number grows by the millions each year.

Its hard to maintain peace, global trade, law and order... but its pretty easy to bring an end to it... and we are in the midst of tearing it all down.

Will this happen in the United States?

Irish teacher who opposed transgender policy arrested at school for violating court order
Enoch Burke opposed referring to a transgender student by their preferred name and pronoun.

Police arrested Irish teacher Enoch Burke this week for a third time since he first criticized his school two years ago for pushing transgender ideology.

On Monday, Ireland’s National Police An Garda Síochána arrested Burke outside Wilson's Hospital School in County Westmeath, where he previously worked as a history and German teacher, and later transported him to Mountjoy Prison, a Dublin men’s jail.

Burke’s X account, currently run by his brother Josiah, later posted footage of the arrest.

"I’m not going to turn my back on my students," Enoch Burke was heard saying during the video as he was placed in the back of a police vehicle.

He said, "I have a right to my job. I have a right to work here. I have a right to be here and not to tell students they need to take puberty blockers."

Burke could also be heard criticizing the officers arresting him, telling them, "You don’t have a duty to do what’s wrong."

Later that day, Newsweek reported a judge ruled that Burke should be returned to Mountjoy Prison after violating a court order to stay away from the campus once the school year began last month. The judge reportedly said Burke could be released if he promised to abide by the court order in the future, but Burke did not give a definitive reply.

According to the Irish Times, Burke's case will be reviewed again on Oct. 11. Until then, he will remain at Mountjoy Prison.

In time, this will all go away. Its too much angst and negativity.
    It addresses so few people.

Are any of the policies going to affect the average citizen?
To study the proclamations would be key.
This is my homework. Thank you. I'll get back to you.

    I would like to understand:

"They are the tools which are currently being used to destroy not just the pillars our society is based upon, but the foundation as well.'

That it happened five years ago is a relief.
What I observed was the nature of those aggressive students.
I surmise they have it so good they have to make up stuff to get riled up about. They are probably spoiled and catered to.
    Big time.
Calling teachers by their first names?
Using swear words all over the place?
Where is the respect and the boundaries of common courstesy traditionally used on college campuses, nation wide?

No more? Or just there, all those years ago.

    Ken,

The Biden administration has taken a more systemic approach.  They are working to advance leftist ideals through legislation, executive orders that sometimes push legal boundaries, and policy-driven efforts to address what they term racial inequality. This includes advocating for police reform, voting rights, and economic equity initiatives. The current administration, with the support of left-leaning media, attempts to drive the ongoing national conversation on race, privilege, and the government's role in addressing and promising to fix social injustice.

Unlike the grassroots nature of the Evergreen Uprising, the Biden administration represents the largest government in the free world. I believe America is on a dangerous path. Many Americans may not support the leftist ideologies that veer toward socialism, but there’s no clear way to measure how much of the population is truly on board. I don't feel there is anywhere near a majority.

You are looking at what is being done today... and saying things like "fix social injustice", to me, makes it seem like you don't understand what is really being done.

You have to look at what their END goal is.  You will only understand the efforts of our government (Biden, Harris, anyone other than Trump will continue such efforts) if you read the goals of UN Agenda 2030 and the WEF.

The efforts they make today are but stepping stones.

Just like I said repeatedly in threads that complain about immigration... read the UN Global Compact on Migration... it explains why migrants are given BETTER treatment than the poorest American citizens.

The UN Global Compact on Migration - Trump REFUSED to join it.  Biden joined it on day one.

This isn't conspiracy this is all well documented fact.

The Constitution has no power if the government in control ignores it, bypasses it, and undermines it.

Our government is marching us into WWIII...

Our government is ready to strip away our Free Speech, our Weapons, and our Rights to Property.

And tens of millions of people are going to, in blissful ignorance or in denial of it all, vote for Harris or not vote at all... letting it all come to pass.

I think my context was misunderstood. I was answering your question as it was written. ---  "What is your opinion on how the Evergreen uprising compares to what we see the current Administration trying to implement throughout our government?"

After watching the several flicks, I sought to compare as your question indicated.

I perhaps should have taken my thoughts further and shared more of my views on what I feel the current administration has done to our society with their leftist agenda and my view of where all this could led.  I can agree with your outlook, it mimics mine closely.

My bad, the first sentence in that post I interpreted in a way I don't believe you intended... and hence, how I replied.

I think you and I do share a similar perspective.

Trying to make sense of what they may say and do today can be a challenge, it becomes self-explanatory when you know their ultimate destination.

Ken, we share a very similar outlook. I've been following and engaging with your discussions for years now, and I can confidently say that much of what you've predicted has indeed come to pass. I always express my views when asked, but in the case of your current thread, I focused on answering the question directly, trying to keep my bias in check.

I’ve probably read almost all of your posts for the past many years, and it’s clear that your opinions are grounded in thorough research, knowledge, and plain common sense. Sadly, the country is in serious decline, and without a miracle, it seems we're headed for disaster. I've witnessed firsthand how our society has succumbed to what can only be described as brainwashing. People seem almost zombie-like, with their hands out and an expectation of being taken care of.

When core values can be so easily disregarded in the most critical issues, and wrong is seen as right, it's clear to me that the writing is on the wall. Americans are turning a blind eye to the serious problems plaguing our nation—problems that many of us could recite from memory. It feels like we're on the brink of catastrophe, and while it might be tempting to say, "I told you so," I doubt it will bring any comfort to those of us who saw this coming.
