Trump names Marco Rubio as his pick for secretary of state by NBC Miami (Nov 13, 2024)
“He will be a strong Advocate for our Nation, a true friend to our Allies, and a fearless Warrior who will never back down to our adversaries,” Trump said of Rubio in a statement.
    https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/politics/ … k/3471233/

"President-elect Donald Trump named Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida as his nominee for secretary of state on Wednesday, setting up a onetime critic who evolved into one of the president-elect’s fiercest defenders to become the nation’s top diplomat.

The conservative lawmaker is a noted hawk on China, Cuba and Iran, and was a finalist to be Trump’s running mate this summer."

I can get behind this decision, but that is me. I have trust and faith in this decision. I supported Rubio back in 2016 with his bid for the presidency.

    Thoughts, criticisms, accolades, and/or commentary?

It says a lot doesn't it. Of course, these Floridians leaving Florida's service will have to be replaced. I remember way back when when I worked the upper management promoted a store manager to be a district manager and the store never recovered. I hope Florida does not experience that.

In my view, it’s rare to see an administration so unified in vision and purpose. Watching how they operate as a cohesive unit will definitely be intriguing and could lead to significant progress.  I am keeping the faith. We both know the Dems will continue to fight dirty. But dirty, again, in my view, will work out well for our side.

Trump is working at record speed, and one can only think he is stoked to have a chance to prove his agenda will bring about a better America. As I always say, this guy has great karma.
