Yikes!
Jeffrey Epstein emails: Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and more
Emails released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday show Jeffrey Epstein sounding off on Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and more.
Epstein in 2018 Telling Former Norway PM, Thorbjørn Jagland that Putin can get advice about Trump from him:
Very interesting indeed.
15 is not that bad... Trump agrees.
"Somebody very, very close, who is in a position to know virtually everything, told me, from the start years and years ago, that Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile. He was into the barely legal type. Like, he liked 15-year-old girls...And that is what I believed, and that is what I reliably was told for many years." - Megyn Kelly
YUCK!

Btw, never forget...
Stern then asked Trump if he has an age limit.
“No, I have no age — I mean, I have age limit. I don’t want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds.”
I wonder if this idiot thinks presidential immunity will protect him when this investigation gets are around to him in 2027.
"Trump says he’s asking Justice Department to investigate Epstein’s ties to slew of high-profile figures"
Is he so dumb that he doesn't know that includes him and all the time he spent at Epstein's house with at least one of the victims - Giuffre?
https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/14/politics … te-enemies
I'm wondering if this is an attempt to prevent the release of the files? Can you hear them saying "The files can't be released in an active investigation" ?
You can bet that is exactly why Donald "the felon" Trump ordered DOIJ to investigate - to hide the TRUTH about him.
I have to believe now that there is some very incriminating evidence in those files for Trump to go to these extremely unethical measures to hide them.
If the attorney Bondi selected in order to obey Trump isn't careful, he will come under detailed scrutiny by the Democrats in 2027. Trump looks to have ordered only Democratic associates be investigated.
But if this attorney is a professional and not a lapdog, he will investigate ANYBODY mentioned in the Epstein files - including Trump himself. If he doesn't he can be hung out to dry on various charges of dereliction of duty.
Just read this ---- "President Donald Trump said Friday he will ask Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s ties to many other high-profile figures, in an extraordinary step that comes just days after Democrats released emails from the late Epstein that mention him.
Trump announced the directive in a Truth Social post that accused Democrats of trying to revive attention to his past ties with Epstein, contending they are “using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures.”
“I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him,” Trump wrote.
Bondi later on Friday confirmed she would launch the investigation on Trump’s orders, assigning Jay Clayton, the top prosecutor in New York’s southern district, to lead the federal probe."
Speaker Mike Johnson now plans to schedule a vote on releasing the Epstein files next week, in a strategic shift spurred by the realization that it could not be stopped. The vote is expected to attract significant support from rank-and-file GOP lawmakers.
Justice will be done even if the heavens themselves may fall. Let’s empty the sack in its entirety and hold everyone that may be criminally involved accountable.
Cred, I’ll be honest, I’m hoping justice plays out naturally and fully. At this point, I want every fact on the table and every person who was truly involved to step forward so we can finally get the truth. What I don’t want to do is jump into scandalizing every name that gets tossed around. We’re seeing flight manifests, emails, and now all kinds of documents surface, and Trump even added more names today. It really does feel like Pandora’s box has been pried open, but only halfway. I’d rather see it opened completely so we can separate truth from rumor once and for all. And when that finally happens… will we be satisfied, disgusted, disappointed, shocked, or sorry we even asked?
Well, unfortunately, that is what Trump is about to do - scandalize people while preventing the files from coming out. DOIJ won't release them now until 2029.
Haley Robson, an Epstein survivor and registered Republican (and proud of it it seems but clearly not a Trump fan), was interviewed on CNN today. One part stood out to me.
BROWN: So, I want to get your reaction to President Donald Trump's post on social media where he says, quote, "The Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein hoax again because they'll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they've done on the shutdown and so many other subjects. Only a very bad or stupid Republican would fall into that trap."
ROBSON: "I mean, my direct message to President Trump is still going to be the same message. Sir, with all due respect, this is not a hoax. And I have been very clear and very concise not to mince my words. I am more than happy to meet with you and to meet you halfway so we can work together to make this horrific ordeal end in a way where everybody can get what they want, which is transparency.
I think the only embarrassing thing is the fact that he's still calling it a hoax. The only embarrassing thing is that you would send Todd Blanche to interview a known perjurer, liar and a pedophile and not invite the victims and survivors to have a conversation with you. The only embarrassing thing I see is the way the government has handled this since Maria has, you know, come out in 1996 and her, you know, complaint was never investigated.
The way they've been handling this entire case has been a disgrace and nothing short of an embarrassment. And I want to add that the world is watching. So, I guess the comedy show and the entertainment that Trump is providing with calling us a hoax, it's at our expense, of course, once again."
While she was not trafficked by Epstein, she did say she would happily stand by MTG, Massie, and Ro Khanna on the House floor while the names of the abusers are read. The other survivors are or have created a list of names, but, because of the danger it would put them in, are unwilling to share it themselves. MTG is on record saying she would do it for them.

“Clinton was NEVER EVER there, never,” Epstein wrote in an a January 2015 email to Michael Wolff.
Here's what the Epstein emails say about Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and others https://share.google/7Tnz5X08da3rLGiVF
President Donald Trump announced Friday night on Truth Social that he is withdrawing his support and endorsement of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, calling her a "ranting lunatic"
The president claimed that Greene "has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore" in a long post where he ultimately vowed "Complete and Unyielding Support" to any conservative primary challenger leading into the 2026 midterm elections.
Her response:
President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge.
The Epstein files.
And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.
It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.
But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream.
That’s what I voted for.
I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him.
But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.
I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my district GA14 and the American people.
I remain the same today as I’ve always been and I will continue to pray this administration will be successful because the American people desperately deserve what they voted for.
For me, I remain America First and America Only!!!
"It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level."
Makes you wonder why, huh?
Just finished another section of Giuffre's book Nobody's Girl that is talking about the period where she filed a civil suit against Epstein, the FBI belatedly started investigating, and she gave her first interview to the Daily Mail who broke the story on ex-Prince Andrews. In each case she gave her lawyers, the reporter, and (new information to me) the FBI the many names of those to whom she was trafficked. Some she remembered others she identified through pictures she was shown. She also gave the FBI a tranche of pictures and other documents she possessed, which they still have the originals of.
So the other survivors are not the only source of names now. Most importantly, the FBI has those names and therefore so does Bondi and DOIJ, as well as Trump*. We know that Trump is not one of those names as it relates to Giuffre, but he is clearly hiding the release of the some of the other names. Why would that be?
* I take it as a given that unlike all previous administrations, even Nixon's, his personal lawyers Bondi and Blanche will give him any information he wants to know and DO ANYTHING he tells them to.
All of these documents and related information need to be released to the nation. It’s time the curtain is pulled back. The perpetrators are clearly being protected, and they need to be exposed; and if laws were broken, they should be charged. It has become obvious that their wealth and positions are shielding them.
The fact that Trump is not demanding full disclosure reflects poorly on him. It suggests he may be involved or acting like a ‘good old boy,’ protecting his associates.
For lack of a better word, because nothing else fits, this is complete nonsense, BS!
Not sure if you or anyone else caught an interview with Howard Lutnik. He apparently lived next door to Epstein's New York City home. Lutnik claimed that Epstein was a master manipulator, had dirt on everyone and that he was the "greatest blackmailer ever".
Lutnick suggested that anything that happened in Epstein's "massage room" was likely recorded on video. He stated, "That's how he had money," implying Epstein used these recordings to blackmail individuals. If he is right, the files will be a treasure trove.
This sounds intriguing, but it doesn’t convince me. We know Maxwell could have benefited from any tapes, and she’s already in prison. Common sense says she wouldn’t release them unless it served her own interests — or, at most, as an act of revenge.
Giuffre in her book verifies the cameras.
Many people suggest that is how he became so rich.
What would make sense to me is that when police raided his home, they would have discovered these tapes unless Epstein was tipped off about the raids and he hid the videos.
A new analysis has several interesting quotes from Trump's former bestie Epstein. I'll reproduce some here. A few will be familiar, others not so much
"‘I am the one able to take him down’: New Epstein emails detail his soured view of former close friend Donald Trump"
* Epstein’s claim that Trump “spent hours” with a trafficking and rape victim inside his home, who House Republicans on Wednesday identified as the late Virginia Giuffre — one of Epstein’s most prominent victims.
* Epstein’s assertion that Trump “knew about the girls” - seemingly in reference to Trump’s claim that he kicked Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago club for poaching young women who worked there.
* “I told everyone from day one. evil beyond belief, mad, ” Epstein wrote of Trump in March 2018. “he feels alone. and is nuts !!!” (maybe he read the analyses from the professional mental health experts)
* Several months later in a text message to a recipient whose name is redacted, an unidentified person wrote to Epstein, “It will all blow over! They’re really just trying to take down Trump and doing whatever they can do to do that …!”
To which, Epstein replied: “yes thx. its wild. because I am the one able to take him down.”
* In February 2017, in an email to former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, Epstein wrote of Trump, “i have met some very bad people ,, none as bad as trump. not one decent cell in his body.. so yes – dangerous.”
* “your world does not understand how dumb he really is,” he wrote of Trump in a 2017 email. “he will blame everyone around him.”
* Epstein once called Trump his “closest friend for 10 years,” a characterization echoed by several people in their orbit.
* In messages from 2017 and 2018, he described Trump as “f***ing crazy,” speculated he might be showing “early dementia,” called him “a maniac,” compared him to a mob boss, replied “duh” when someone referred to Trump as “truly stupid,” and added that he was “borderline insane.”
“he feels alone. and is nuts !!! , I told everyone from day one. evil beyond belief. mad, and most thought i was speaking metaphorically. its obvious he could crack. stormy daniels. ? lies after lies aflter lies,” he wrote in one 2018 email.
* In a 2019 exchange, a contact wrote to Epstein, “just met your friend POTUS.”
“See if you still have your wallet,” Epstein responded
* “donald is close to no one,” Epstein wrote in one exchange with an Emirati businessman in 2018. “he talks to many people. he tells each one something differnt.”
* In one exchange with former Obama White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, discussing Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime fixer who had flipped on him, Epstein added, “i know how dirty Donald is.”
[i]Those of us not under Trump's spell know what Epstein has described about Trump to be very TRUE. As to the mental health problems - that has been very well documented by hundreds of experts in the field. His latest move of ordering an investigation into Epstein and Democrats is a sign of that decline. He doesn't realize his personal law firm, DOIJ, will most certainly bungle the job and end up incriminating Trump one way or another. Also, he is going to really piss off MAUGA even more as he tries to hide the TRUTH from them even more.
Trump, in reversal, calls on House GOP to vote to release Epstein files
President Trump on Sunday night called on House Republicans to vote to release files linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, reversing his previous position.
Trump’s announcement came amid signs that a vote this week on a measure forced by a discharge petition might have won dozens of Republican votes despite the president’s opposition.
“As I said on Friday night aboard Air Force One to the Fake News Media, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat ‘Shutdown,’” the president wrote in the Sunday night post on his Truth Social platform.
In the hours before Grijalva was sworn into the House last week, Trump and allies reached out to some Republicans who had signed in the discharge petition, in what appeared to be an effort to get them to back down. A discharge petition to force a vote on a measure to release the government files secured its 218th signature on Wednesdasy when Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-Ariz.) was sworn into Congress. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) had refused to swear in Grijalva for weeks amid the government shutdown.
Discharge petitions are a way for the minority to force a vote on legislation the majority in the House does not want to hold. In this case, a handful of House Republicans, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), who has been in a feud with Trump over the Epstein files and other issues, joined with Democrats on the discharge petition.
Johnson said the House would vote on the underlying measure forced by the petition this week. Several sponsors, including Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), predicted dozens of Republicans would vote for it on the floor. Massie specifically predicted 100 GOP members could back it.
Such a scenario would have potentially been embarrasing for Trump and the White House. Calling for the GOP to back the release of the files ahead of the vote saves the president from the harshness of that situation.
If the measure is approved by the House, it would still need to be passed by the Senate and signed by Trump to force the release.
At least 13 GOP senators would likely need to support the measure in the Senate given the filibuster in that chamber.
In recent months, the Trump administration has faced scrutiny from both sides of the aisle over its handling of information related to Epstein.
Pressure grew last week after the release by Democrats of more emails, including one written by Epstein that said Trump “knew about the girls.”
Now that he knows the measure is going to pass anyway.
"Nothing to hide", but he was still trying to stop the discharge petition until it passed. LOL
What a sad excuse of a man.
Where this is headed? In my opinion, of course. The investigation he launched means the DoJ can likely withhold anything he wants until he says the investigation is over, which gives him the ability to hide whatever he likes while he is in office.
If Congress passes the law and overrides Trump's veto they can force the release of much of the files so long as it doesn't contain grand jury testimony, which they don't really need, and have the victim's names redacted. The big question is what to do about the "third-party names", I won't use the word "innocent", the thing they are really after.
In any case, Trump will tell his weaponized DOIJ to tie this up in court if it gets that far.
Whoever says Donald "the felon" Trump doesn't flip-flop on a regular basis is simply lying to themselves and others.
Trump reverses course and tells Republicans to vote for Epstein document release law.
(Of course he has his fingers crossed behind his back because he knows the files are protected since he ORDERED DOIJ to investigate Democrats that Epstein knew.)
https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/ … s-11-17-25
I’m hopeful the vote will pass and we’ll finally get what we’ve been asking for. I’m sorry to hear the lights may be turned off here as soon as November 19th, especially since it means we won’t have the chance to explore the documents and discuss them together. I’m sure there would have been plenty to dig into.
Me to, but as I said, even if it does pass, it will be years before we see anything.
Trump seems to have accidentally revealed his plan to block select Epstein files.
The goal of the Epstein petition is full release of the files, but Trump says:
“the House Oversight Committee can have what they are legally entitled to”
That’s a red flag.
The oversight committee is allowed to get information from the DoJ on *active* cases that the rest of Congress cannot get.
But, a number of different rules allow the DoJ to withhold information *at their discretion* without even informing Oversight.
So by saying “Oversight” can have “what they are legally entitled to”
Trump is saying he intends to have DoJ provide Oversight selective files and withhold the rest under “active investigation” terms - possibly without even revealing that to Oversight.
Mark Epstein
“I’ve been recently told the reason they’re going to be releasing these things, and the reason for the flip is that they’re sanitizing these files,” Epstein alleged.
“There’s a facility in Winchester, Virginia, where they’re scrubbing the files to take Republican names out of it. That’s what I was told by a pretty good source,” he added.
Epstein suggested his brother had compromising information on the president, but did not specify.
“He didn’t tell me what he knew, but Jeffrey definitely had dirt on Trump,” he alleged. “You could see in the emails, Trump could deny it all he wants, but it’s pretty clear everything Trump says is a lie.”
I wouldn't doubt it.
I just finished that part in Virginia Robert Giuffre's memoir Nobody's Girl where Epstein and probably other big-wigs she was trafficked to broke into her house in Colorado while they were out. And late one night someone drove up to her house and parked there, engine running, and bright lights shining through the windowed front door while Giuffre and her children were inside. All in an effort to intimidate her.
I find it interesting that the biden administration's Department of Justice had the Epstein files for four years. During that time the democrats never demanded their release. For years they were of no importance. Now, because of Trump Derangement Syndrome the Epstein have become a major issue.
I would ask if the word hypocrisy is something understood by the left.
I find it interesting that the Bush DOJ and some of the Epstein files for three years. During that time republicans never demanded their release. For years they were of no importance. Now, because of Biden Derangement Syndrome the Epstein files have become a major issue.
I would ask if the word hypocrisy is something understood by the Right?
OR HOW ABOUT
I find it interesting that the Trump DOJ and some of the Epstein files for 4 years. During that time republicans never demanded their release. For years they were of no importance. Now, because of Biden Derangement Syndrome the Epstein files have become a major issue.

But, in any case, MAUGA and Trump, before he Flip-Flopped TWICE have gotten their wish, Assuming He Signs It and doesn't have Flip-Flop #3, the DOIJ has 30 days to release them.
I believe that the Biden Administration could not move on any release of these files during that time because there was active litigation.
Mike, Hey, from what I understand, the files were kept under wraps after Epstein’s 2019 arrest and throughout the ongoing investigation. In my view, a lot of that had more to do with trying, once again, to bring down Trump than anything else. My common sense tells me that if the Biden DOJ had found anything that could have genuinely incriminated Trump, they would’ve written it across the sky. Instead, they just let it hang over Trump's head throughout Biden’s term. Hey, it is so easy for the Democrats to face; it was Trump's DOJ that took Epseon down. They could have buried it, as the Obama bunch did.
Now that everything is finally coming out, I think we’ll see that there was no real point to keeping it hidden. But I also think a lot of people who were actually involved in what Epstein was offering are about to be exposed—and some of those names may be shocking.
Now why would the Trump DOJ done that? Biden didn't become president until 2021, three years later.
As to trying to bring down Trump - if we apply that logic to normal criminals, we wouldn't need a justice system or jails, would we. I mean if a cop didn't eyewitness a crime, then everything else is hearsay like you imply it is against Trump, so no need to investigate is there.
Arguably, Trump is the most corrupt politician in American history!! He has been convicted or found liable for fraud, defamation, and sexual predation. Yet you feel he should not be investigated at all. I simply can't process that.
Let me repeat --- Trump's DOJ charged Epstein. I think that says all that needs to be said. I speculate we will see many important men outed, humiliated, and lives changed forever --- Trump won't be one of them.
Oh, his life is already changed forever by his total ineptitude in handling this.
And Let Me Repeat - Why didn't Trump release the file when Epstein died? I don't see why "that says all that needs to be said". There is a lot more to wonder about.
- Why didn't Republicans call for the release? They knew it contained evidence of the Acosta cover-up.
- Why did Trump promote Acosta to a cabinet position? Why did he do that knowing Acosta cut that sweetheart deal with Epstein that screamed cover-up?
- Why did Trump go through all these embarrassing flip-flops? First he campaigns HARD on releasing the documents. Then he fights tooth-and-nail to prevent their release; he even tells Bondi to start a fake investigation into Democrats to create ruse so that the files can't be released. Then, when he saw so many Republicans were going to make a fool of him by voting for the discharge petition, he CAVES BIG TIME to save face and supports passing the bill - with a caveat to "release only what is legally allowable" - meaning hide everything associated with the investigation he started.
And now he seems to be delaying signing the bill - WHY?
As to these "important men". I suspect most in there were identified by Epstein's victims.
Shar,
We both know what this obsession with the Epstein is all about.
It is a diversion from the fact that 8 democrats caved to end the government shut down. They have to get attention off the fact that Republicans won...once again against the democrats.
It is such obvious desperation on their part.
I hope democrats realize the American public know the game that they are playing. It's nothing new.
Ho Hum.
The truth does hurt Eso, but don't do further harm by rolling on the floor... not a good practice! ![]()
Mike, I find it remarkable to watch Democrats dance around the facts as if they don’t even exist. The number-one, undeniable point is pure common sense: it was the Trump DOJ that brought Epstein down and filed the charges. If Trump had anything to hide, he would have been the last person on earth to green-light that prosecution. And as Trump himself has said more than once, it was Democrats who counted Epstein as a friend, donor, and guest.
So yes—this latest ploy is going to boomerang on them. It always does. They’re dragging this back into the spotlight thinking it hurts Trump, when in reality it’s going to expose the people in their own circle, stain reputations, derail a few careers, and remind the public who was really close to Epstein. You can feel the desperation. They’ve run out of ideas, out of credibility, and out of anything meaningful to offer America. For years now, especially the last decade, their tactics have become more destructive, more immoral, and frankly more disgraceful. And this is just another example of that downward slide. They literally hate all that our nation stands for...
Ghislaine Maxwell had significant active litigation going on during the Biden Administration, including her criminal trial, conviction, and initial appeals process.
Key events during the Biden Administration. So no release would be possible. Why do we think that Trump is ordering Pam Bondi to open an investigation?
If anyone is keeping count, here is a chronological (until Prince Andrews list of those Virginia Roberts Giuffre have named as having abused her. All have denied having done so, but two were convicted of it.
* Her father, starting a six years old
* "Forrest", a family friend her father trafficked her to
* Ron Eppinger – A Miami sex trafficker
* Jeffrey Epstein
* Ghislaine Maxwell
* Prince Andrew / Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
* Glenn Dubin – Hedge-fund manager
* Jean-Luc Brunel – French model scout and one of Epstein's main suppliers of girls
* George J. Mitchell – Former U.S. senator
* Bill Richardson – Former governor of New Mexico
* Marvin Minsky – Late MIT AI pioneer
* Les Wexner – Billionaire founder of L Brands (Victoria’s Secret).
* Ehud Barak - former Israeli prime minister. Another victim identified him as well
* Alan Dershowitz - Lawyer who represented Trump at an impeachment trial. He sued for defamation and Giuffre countered-sued. Later Giuffre said "maybe she wasn't sure" and they both settled the lawsuits.
Note: In her memoir she often admits she doesn't necessarily remember the names of her abusers but their faces are burned in her memory. In subsequent interviews and investigations she was shown various galleries of pictures of those in Epstein's universe so most were identified that way.
I’ve been looking back at the Epstein situation just to ground myself before reacting to the new file releases. He was first charged in Florida back in 2006 with multiple counts involving minors, but he ended up getting that extremely lenient plea deal in 2008. Then in July 2019 he was arrested again on federal sex-trafficking charges in New York, and we all know he died in custody a month later before the full extent of everything could come out. With this new batch of files being released, I’m trying to stay level-headed. For me, it isn’t about jumping to conclusions or using the information to score political points; it’s about finally getting transparency on something that clearly involved powerful people across the board. I just want the truth laid out plainly, wherever it leads, because the victims deserve that much.
In my view, this is going to turn into a really ugly scandal, and it’s going to ruin a lot of lives. Some of those people will deserve whatever comes out of it, but others won’t, especially those who were victims and are being dragged back into the spotlight all over again. I think that’s the part that bothers me the most. The guilty should be exposed, but the victims shouldn’t have to keep reliving this just because powerful people kept everything hidden for so long.
Well, Trump signed the bill.
Now he goes on to Phase 2, helping DOIJ not comply with the law since he failed so dramatically in Phase 1..
https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/ … e-11-19-25
The facts are straightforward: it was the Trump administration that had Epstein arrested in 2019, and it was Trump who pushed for and signed the bill that ultimately led to these files being released. When the full truth comes out, it’s going to be one of those moments where he can fairly say, “I told you so.” Yet certain groups never seem to learn. They dig around trying to skew reality, replacing facts with illogical nonsense, and they refuse to acknowledge anything that doesn’t fit the narrative they’re committed to. No matter how clear or glaring the evidence is, it still gets ignored or brushed aside.
Shar,
It is more than obvious that facts, truth, and reality are beyond the scope of those on the left. They go by emotion combined with nonsense to guide them in the political world.
So sad.
I do agree, it’s becoming more and more obvious. Even at the point where they should be recognizing that they’ve lost the argument on so many of their unrealistic, and frankly some truly nonsensical, causes, a small minority still won’t admit it. At the same time, there is factual support for the idea that many Democrats have stepped back or distanced themselves from the party. Data shows the party has lost millions of registered voters over the past few years, and polling reflects growing frustration among their own base. It’s clear that many people feel the party has drifted too far left on cultural and economic issues, and there’s a real, noticeable group of Democrats who are disillusioned and moving away, a trend that has been building for some time.
This trend isn’t limited to one demographic. Men, especially young men, seem to be drifting away from the Democratic Party. Young voters in general, particularly those aged 18–29, also swung away in 2024. Among racial minorities, younger or working-class Black and Hispanic voters have shown signs of frustration, feeling the party hasn’t delivered on promises that matter to them. Even some religious groups are moving away, for example, the Tufts Cooperative Election Study shows that Catholic support dropped from 47% in 2020 to 40% in 2024, and born-again Christians, a more socially conservative group, continue trending toward the GOP. Taken together, it’s clear that multiple pillars of the Democratic coalition are weakening, and the party is facing a growing challenge in holding its base together.
Now, let's correct the record where needed.
* Yes, Democrats lost ~2 million in registration. But that is out of context. On its face, 2 million sounds like a very large number. But, when compared to the total, it is very small - about 4% of registered Democratic voters.
* While it is true that SOME young male voters have drifted right, young voters nevertheless overwhelmingly favor the Democrats, especially young women.
* It is also true that while Democrats still garner the majority of Hispanic and Black voters, they did lose some to the Republicans in the last major election. But most of that was based on believing Trump's lies about lowering prices overall. Because he didn't, polls show that support is starting to evaporate at an increasing rate.
* Also, the data presented is dated. Not mentioned is the overwhelming support Democrats received in the Nov 2025 Nov elections. That was a blow out for the Ds.
How, true a picture, ESO. Now that is the real nitty-gritty. I know people in my community who believed that Trump was better for the economy based on his first term where fortune just favored his being in the eye of the hurricane with the real leg work having been done by Obama before him and the repairs from his mismanagement of the economy corrected by Biden, afterwards. But, so many were fixed on mere nostalgia instead of the facts on the ground.
Now that the truth reveals what it is that I have told them from the beginning, regarding Trump’s economic miracle, what little support that he had gained from the last election can be expected to have vaporized by midterms time.
I don’t think it’s accurate to call the November 2025 results a “blowout.” Most of those races were already solidly blue and were expected to stay that way, so they don’t really tell us anything new about the national landscape. To me, winning in places that were already deeply Democratic isn’t evidence of some major shift — it’s just those areas performing the way they always do in off-year elections.
* Virginia is obviously not "solidity blue" - not with a Republican governor and an evenly split legislature.
* While New Jersey is definitely Democratic, but "solidly blue" is a stretch, not with eight years of a Republican governor and Harris barely squeaked out a victory. Democrats don't hold a huge lead in registered voters. They also hold majorities in both Houses, but not supermajorities like in California.
SO, what happened in 2025 that qualifies as a "blowout",
* Spanberger won by a landslide, the largest margin since 1961.
* Democrats flipped an astounding 13 seats in the House of Delegates. the biggest majority since the 1980s
* Sherill won by the largest landslide since 2001.
* Democrats flipped another five seats in their assembly - the largest change for either party in 10 years.
* Even the win in California in combatting Trump's redistricting crap was bigger than expected.
I think I'll stick with my "blowout" phrasing rather than trying to minimize what it really was.
NOTE THE WORD MOST ---- "I don’t think it’s accurate to call the November 2025 results a “blowout.” Most of those races were already solidly blue and were expected to stay that way, so they don’t really tell us anything new about the national landscape."
Such a problem with context
"it was Trump who pushed for"
What? And with a straight face! LOL
I'll believe it only when I see it, but DOIJ asked judges to remove their protective orders on the Epstein files. They want the grand jury transcripts as well, but I am not sure why they need those protected documents.

I am still vexed, I still hear rumors that the administration may still have far too much control over what information regarding the Epstein files would be released. Was the congressional mandate for release just an exercise in futility?
I should have known that the rich and powerful would do anything and everything to avoid having themselves shown in a negative light or give the man in the street reason to question their hegemony

Trump’s appointed judge, Aileen Cannon, in her classified documents trial wants the trial to be over by September. However, she wants all the lawyers on the case to have been granted top secret clearances. In terms of time, those two demands are in conflict with each other. I know having been...

I’ve been closely following the Epstein saga, and I’ve started piecing together some patterns that are hard to ignore. When Trump first ran for president, he promised transparency and even said the Epstein documents would be released. Later, when AG Pam Bondi finally received those documents from...

When DOJ lawyers take their oath, it's not just fancy words; it's a promise to uphold the Constitution above all else. Their duty is to justice and the rule of law, not to any political agenda. It took Bondi and Bove five whole days to do something so corrupt. Inform yourself about the...
