as they were leaving a fund raising dinner in new orleans...the couple said they heard the men that beat them up say "let's get them, they have Palin buttons on.."
broke the girls leg and gave her boyfriend a broken nose and a concussion...

This is disgusting, criminal behavior. I hope the assailants get caught and the book gets thrown at them.
Truly sick and disgusting, and it will be as well if it's not discussed and analyzed at length for days on the mainstream network news. If not, it will be even more sick and disgusting.
I hope they catch the idiot criminals who did it and lock them up for a long time. The protesters seemed pretty well behaved although a couple of the signs didn't help their cause.
They can probably find them at the ACORN office or the closest DNC headquarters.
With all due respect, Padrino, I've just got to say it seems to me that such sweeping generalizations and accusations without evidence are part of the kind of thinking that result in this sort of behavior.
yes, what we say and in our signs matters. I am striving for waking up to the need for unity and common ground, not opposition, agitation or violence... that is what i look to in learning more about the Constitution and what our Republic is suppose to look like, and in how people act toward each other.
*sigh* Why does everything have to be a label? Why "us" and "them"? When are people going to get the simple fact that we're PEOPLE? Violent, loving, smart, stupid, big, small, liberal, conservative....flawed...people.
These sorts of things come out of the human condition...not the labels people place on one another. If it hadn't been "Palin buttons" it would be something else.
*sigh* Never mind. It's just a waste of time. And I've got other things to do.
I don't think you will find many liberals who defend this kind of thuggery. I don't.
You won't find many talking about it either.
Just go to the SEIU and you'll find thugs to defend any kind of thuggery if it suits them.
I'm so glad to see street-thugs taking such an active interest in politics.
There are some serious idiots on the extreme right looking for an excuse I hope this doesn't start a pattern of behavior.

Outrage about comparing the behavior of some Trump supporters to the behavior of German citizens during the early days of Hitler:Is that outrage misplaced? The Republicans and President Obama's haters will have to bite the bullet or something. Before Barack Obama was sworn in, the republicans started a campaign to discredit our President. They spent 3 years trying to deligitimize this black man as President of the US. Because of the Republican's...
