This is really aggravating! Even Palin is disappointing me! At least Bachmann had a proposal to cut farm subsidies but republicans supporting ethanol just to get votes of Iowans is morally wrong and unacceptable! We need to cut the budget, and that means every single line item must be reduced... there must be a shared sacrifice and even so cutting subsidies for ethanol is a no-brainer!

Ron Paul on what he would cut:

"I would start with the departments. . . the Department of Education, the Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security."

Lol He gets it! The republicans... not so much! If the republicans don't get their act together we could end up with democrats back in power as those lying socialist pigs will do anything to get their hands on the reins of this nation!

Hmm...give me a single example of Democrats being "lying socialist pigs." Where is the socialism? Do you actually know what socialism is? No...I doubt it.

All those who scream socialism at any policy they don't like will of course show the consistency of their...well, we'll be charitable and call them thoughts, by opting out of medicare and SOCIAL security.

I would gladly do that. IF the government agreed to stop collecting the tax from me. I've paid enough for TWO people to be "vested" in SSA.

Here here! I have been saying that for a long while. But being hypocrites, they won't - don't hold your breath.

Pick one any one... how about Obama, liar and socialist in chief?

We know you can call people names like a 7 yr old, but you have yet to display any understanding of the words you use. Again, show me one instance where Obama is a socialist. One.

I would start at the top, with the President's Cabinet, including the official capacity of the current head of that department.

Yes, we know. You all have been trying to get him out since before he got in. But you know, there ARE other people in this country besides you.

In case YOu forgot......WE elected him. You act like WE don't count for anything. Keep it up...you will get a big serving of your own sour pie.

Lol! I wish it was a good thing...I wish Obama was an outstanding success... unfortunately he is the exact opposite ... a total failure,  a narcissist and a liar as well as an incompetent and a violator of his oath of office and a hater of freedom and the constitution plus a hypocrite... even if he's a nice guy with an electric smile!

I agree.  His beauty is only skin deep.  That electric smile never did get to me.  But so many Americans are soooo superficial!

Republicans with standing and political pull need to roll up their sleeves and start doing some actual work instead of letting the liberal agenda distract them.

Obama is playing politics as usual with the budget instead of taking a leadership role... he wants the republicans to make the cuts and fix the debt problem...then he'll blame them for the pain and take credit for the good results... the man is a snake! Sly as a fox!

Brenda - so many Americans are superficial. They tend to make arguments that the 4th grade class would find infantile. You really can't debate them due to their superficiality and lack of depth of knowledge... It's a real b1tch- we totally agree lol

Seriously Lady, who are you working for? You have to be a plant - if not, you are likely the most toxic person I have ever read. You really ought to read about Social Dominance Theory. I think it would answer many questions....

No, it presents some theories as to what forms peoples' political beliefs- what makes some lead left, and others lean right. It's sociology mainly (Communist propaganda) - kind of fascinating. I think you might find it quite interesting - very enlightening. It might explain your anger, your uncertainty, your paralyzing fear of change, your love and comfort of the status-quo, and your willingness to accept that people aren't really equal. I don't expect you to read it, but your rantings are on the far-end of the scale and pretty much match how you present yourself to a tee.

Suddenly you're talking like a liberal democrat! This is the foundation of what Obama's been preaching!

Who baptized you into this religion?

When Obama talks about shared sacrifice he's talking about taking from the rich to give to the poor! In my version shared sacrifice means cut the government across the board every department and eliminate all subsidies especially ethanol! I don't think the democrats are talking like that!

As long as these tax increases are coupled with REAL reform on entitlement programs and REAL budget cuts across the board.

Pricey jet engine tests budget cutters' resolve--AP

The engine battle pits Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates — who say the engine would waste almost $3 billion over the next few years — against GOP leaders like House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, whose state is a chief beneficiary.

And this cop is about to be our Sheriff!!

A swell Tea-P'er though....even Scott Brown is on his bandwagon.

Oh you Repubs get me, you really do.

"Republicans with standing and political pull need to roll up their sleeves and start doing some actual work instead of letting the liberal agenda distract them."

Republicans have had their own agendas distracting them...

Like figuring out a way to justify the invasion of Iraq...

As in finding more ways to send tax dollars to private corporations, like Halliburton and Dyncorp...

And, through seeking new ways of destroying worker organization in this nation...either through outsourcing/offshoring, or through union busting...

The Bush Administration did its best to undermine the ILWU, and what is going on in Wisconsin continues along that line...

The neo-conservative legacy is built on mountains of debt...through unfunded wars, unfunded tax cuts, and scams (like the refusal of the Bush/Cheney controlled department of Energy to investigate Enron  during the California Energy Crisis....though Governor Gray Davis kept calling on them to do their job nd halt the corporate embezzlement of California tax dollars)..

Yeah, they think we're all stupid and don't see what they're all about...then they send out their talking points trolls all over the web....

The stupider the idea, the harder they troll.

OR, the smarter the Obama idea, the more they troll.

They all went to the Professor idiot Beck School of broadcasting.

"Throw anything, and make it believable."

Hey--did you know that Alestair Crowley is Barbara Bush's real father?????
Did you know that 2 of W's girlfriends had abortions?
Did you know that Republicans eat worms hoping it will make them smarter???
Did you know that Palin used to watch Star Trek and believes herself to be the re-encarnation of Zork?

1, possibly 2 of these are true...but what does it matter, if I say it enough times, I make it true!!

    1. Likely true!
    2. Definitely true (and I'll bet you anything they did NOT have to go through Planned Parenthood)
    3. I thought they ate worms because, like the old schoolyard song goes "nobody likes them, everybody hates them...."
4.False. Palin would never watch a show that was not officially sanctioned in the Constitution lol

Meanwhile, some positive news about the OTHER Barbara Bush (who I always knew was the normal one in the family):

In a break from her father's politics, Barbara Bush, daughter of Republican President George W. Bush, has publicly expressed her support for gay marriage.
Having grown up under the spotlight with both a grandfather and father in the Oval Office, she is now vocally advocating for something that Bush 43 wanted constitutionally banned.

"New York is about fairness and equality," says Barbara, who lives in Manhattan, in a YouTube video. "And everyone should have the right to marry the person that they love.” The video was filmed for the Human Rights Campaign, which will show it at a gala in New York City on Feb. 5.

Barbara isn't the first family member of a conservative politician to support same-sex marriage. Meghan McCain, daughter of Senator John McCain, has supported it, as has her mother, Cindy McCain. Barbara's mother Laura Bush has reportedly touched on her support for the issue. And Mary Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, is a lesbian and campaigns for legalizing same-sex marriage.
