This moron Michelle Bachmann thought the shot that started the revolutionary war was fired in New Hampshire! Bawhhhaaaa! http://news.yahoo.com/s/dailybeast/1313 … Npc3N0b3A-
She is scary stupid.
Oh yeah she's really stupid
She's a million times smarter than you. She's a lawyer and a congresswoman she fostered 23 kids and knows more about finance then you will ever know! She'd make a GREAT president and I'd vote for her in an instant!
With 23 foster kids, she sure knows about taking money from the "gangster gvt"!!
Let's see....weekly allowance, food, clothes, doctor care....one might even accuse her of partaking in a scam.
If it was a Dem, I'm sure one would.
It'd be on Rense.com; Democrat scams gvt by taking in foster kids. Story at noon. After the lead: Rich Mogul who wants to buy the presidency says Obama was not born here!
Story at 6, after mogul bathes in his money.
Hey Trump: You're Fired! Before you're hired.
Hey Bachmann: Give back the quarter mil you took for your farm!!!
Oh,, so the pro-choice side tells pro-lifers to put their money where their mouth is and take care of some of these children....someone like Michele Bachmann does exactly that and it's still not good enough for you.
Can you smell the hypocrisy?
Liberals hate, HATE, women of character and conviction that are opposed to abortion. No surprise that LMC feels the way she does about Bachmann.
YOU think she has courage and conviction. I think she's a self-serving hypocrit!
If she took gvt money to do it, SHE'S the hypocrit!
And you would of course have evidence that she took government money? We're waiting.....
Well, we KNOW she took $250,000 for her family farm.
Maybe she used the foster kids as a selling point?
Given her self-serving attitude, it wouldn't surprise me.
So you're saying that you in fact have no evidence to support your accusation. Thank you very much.
No, but it's a very good question, I wish a reporter would ask her.....
After all, if it were Michelle Obama, you KNOW the right-wing phony-press would jump on it!
Cause, after all:
"Michele Bachmann's "Baby Farm" May Have Earned Her More Than $1,000,000 In Tax Free Income: "No wonder she's anti-abortion. Children are a cash crop for her."
Sheeeesh, and they call Obama a socialist!
Communist
Terrorist
Non-Citizen
Liar-in-Chief
Shiny
Anti-American
The only moron here is you...Are you that blinkered and illiterate that the only noun you can come up with is dufus..?
I think you are just intimidated by strong, intelligent, conservative women...
If you want to point fingers at verbal miscues you may want to look at the clueless Biden. Better yet, here is a parody of Obama miscues by Sarah Palin, another strong,
intelligent,conservative woman liberals fear:
" My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…"....
Sure makes Michelle look like a genius next to the empty suit that was locked out of the White House...What's the word for that..? Oh yeah, dufus...
Awwwwww, you don't like her being called names?
Not thin-skinned are you?
Wow!! What a stunningly intelligent reply...
Lol Maven, the record speaks for itself. She didn't know where the revolutionary war started. That disqualifies her. That is worse than Potato, Potatoe, that whats his name who ran for Vice President did. This is far worse.
You can't have a leader who is that stupid about American history.
Some evidence of how "smart" this whacko is:
''But we also know that the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States. I think it is high time that we recognize the contribution of our forbearers who worked tirelessly -- men like John Quincy Adams, who would not rest until slavery was extinguished in the country.''
''(Gay marriage) is probably the biggest issue that will impact our state and our nation in the last, at least, thirty years. I am not understating that.''
''That's why people need to continue to go to the town halls, continue to melt the phone lines of their liberal members of Congress, and let them know, under no certain circumstances will I give the government control over my body and my health care decisions.''
—Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), a pro-lifer who completely missed the irony of using the same slogan as the pro-choice movement in arguing against health care reform
''Unfortunately, the Census data has become very intricate, very personal, a lot of the questions that are asked. I know for my family, the only question we will be answering is how many people are in our home. We won't be answering any information beyond that, because the Constitution doesn't require any information beyond that.''
—Michele Bachmann, announcing that she would be breaking the law by refusing to answer census questions, June 2009
hmmmmmm, she reminds me of someone...

Look up the definition of the word "gaffe" and then attempt a meaningful response.
gaffe also gaff (gf)
n.
1. A clumsy social error; a faux pas: "The excursion had in his eyes been a monstrous gaffe, a breach of sensibility and good taste" (Mary McCarthy).
2. A blatant mistake or misjudgment.
Your point?
That's a good first step.
Now, try to apply that definition to Bachman's quotes.
I think it's easy to do just that. Her screw ups are little differnt from Obamas. Getting a historical location right and remembering that there are only 50 states should be easy, but when you spend that much time in the spotlight, you're going to make a few goofs.
If you are going to target Bachmann, then you need to be honest and admit that the Community Organizer has a few pretty good screw ups on his own resume.....
Dontcha love hitting the wrong button?
Okay....57 states......talking about a flood that killed 10,000 people when in fact only twelve died.......referring to the non-existant Austrian language...failing to understand that Region 1 DVDs will not play in Great Britain (great gift btw).....
Need we elaborate.....
She is quite a woman!
And yeah, it's nice to see her use the same argument the libs do, but in the correct way. The libs have plagiarized way too many definitions and concepts, twisted them into confusion.
Yes Ron, they did not eradicate slavery. However, J. Quincy Adams was a gainst slavery. She got the timeline totally wrong, however.
The mental ineptitude of the general public vs politicians is astounding.
No wonder the country is going down the drain.
ps; I'm still waiting for you to answer my 2 questions.
Don't be like Bachmann....man up!
Of course if we are going to talk doofus, you have to mention Joe Biden. Remember this guy is one heartbeat from the Presidency....
"Look, John's last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S, jobs."
"You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.... I'm not joking."
“John McCain is a personal friend, a great friend, and I would be honored to run with or against John McCain, because I think the country would be better off, be well off no matter who…”
"His mom lived in Long Island for ten years or so. God rest her soul. And- although, she's- wait- your mom's still- your mom's still alive. Your dad passed. God bless her soul."
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened." –Joe Biden, apparently unaware that FDR wasn't president when the stock market crashed in 1929 and that only experimental TV sets were in use at that time
"Stand up, Chuck, let 'em see ya." –-Joe Biden, to Missouri state Sen. Chuck Graham, who is in a wheelchair, Columbia, Missouri, Sept. 12, 2008
Yup.
And liberals were worried about Sarah Palin!
Yet they tolerate (and hide) Joe Biden.
I am no fan of Joe Biden. I don't even like the Dems. Both parties allowed the housing bubble and even facilitated it. I write about those things on my hubs.
But the Republicans want to hurt mainstreet anyway they can while allowing unregulated banks to offer ponzi money again. They want the banksters to gamble.
Plus, I have a hunch, since she took that quarter-mil for her farm, she would not hesitate to take for the kids.
Only Real People like her get to do it.
Don'tcha know!
You have a HUNCH....well, that certainly makes it so......listen up everybody, lovemychris has a HUNCH!
I gave you proof that Cheney told NORAD to stand down....you poo-poo'ed it.
Like everything else, you have selective responses.
I will go out on a limb and say Bachmann would not have taken those kids in without being paid to do it.
Now--can you tell me why Cheney told NORAD to stand down? For the 4th time, and with proof that he did?
Your question was answered....look in the appropriate thread.
Again, you have no proof that Michele Bachmann did what you claim. And if it turns out she did, so what? If she was eligible and it was within the law, then I'm hard pressed to see your point.
Of course that's nothing new.....
"Actually she got over $600. per month for those kids. If she even had Four in her house at one time she got $1,600 per month, $38,000 a yr. Plus Federal Farm Substities adding up to over another $39, 400. the year. Total Goverment Imcome = $77,400 with the Goverment giveing All the kids Free medical/eye/medicine assistance with low co-pays as little as $2.00 per visit or med's! All transportations needed to & from is paid for on a generouse pay program for the children. If she home schools the children, her state allots her MORE money! Bacuchman had it made in allowing her Goverment to totally support her/her farm an her expense's in every way.”
going to find it for you, in blood.
And again, if it is allowed under the law and she was eligible for it, she did absolutely nothing wrong.
Are you going somewhere with this or are you just grazing?
"Yeah It's a money making business for some people. Love how she complain about people living off the Gov. but she does it well. The farm subsidies for her family are OK with her too"
Love how she complain about people living off the Gov. but she does it well.
--That is the problem.
***
And you did NOT answer my question. You said he didn't do it. I showed you he did....twice. Now WHY did he tell NORAD to stand down on 9/11?
Do you have a geuss?
Or do you just like to throw around questions, but never answer any yourself? Like Jim.
And what about Rush having to have 2 mil more in his pocket--59 million instead of 57-- while they cut day-care funding? You OK with that?
I never said he didn't do it. Just that he doesn't have the authority. I also said that if he did it was a bad decision, but not indicative of an inside job.
I'm totally fine with Rush making 59 million. Hope he makes a lot more.....
Can we have just ONE political thread that doesn't regress to "I know you are, but what am I?" within 3 posts?
The topic here is Michele Bachman.
Having read the posted historical misquotes and the linked article, it's clear MB gets her "facts" from the same source as SP. In fact, she probably read SP's two books. A lot of the same misinterpretations of the Constitution and early American history.
When your entire raison d'etre is based on what's in (or not in) the original Constitution and what our founding fathers intended for this country and what they stood for and accomplished, you really should have a solid understanding of these foundations.
Michele Bachman is Palin redux.
BTW, there is a Concord in New Hampshire. And, since it is the capital, that is likely where Mrs. Bachman went on her visit. Concord, Mass. is not on the presidential hopefuls tour, so her gaffe is entirely understandable. Defensible? Not so much.
Michelle Bachmann: "Love how she complain about people living off the Gov. but she does it well."
--Hypocrit.
Yeah what a dufus. Don't forget she eats babies too. And she's narrow minded and not able to change her mind too.
http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?ti … e_Bachmann
I would be proud to have her as our next president!
Well, she's certainly more qualified than the Community Organizer....of course that isn't saying much.....
She's also easy on the eyes....apologies, I'm a guy......
I used to wonder how LMC could be as angry as she obviously is every single day...then I remembered my ex wife and why I am now happily divorced.......
Angry? I thought that was funny!
Like you know, Shiny...Liar-In-Chief...Community Organizer....the Messiah.
Where's your sense of humor?
You should see her rants against Israel. She makes no bones about her outright hatred for that Nation, or for anyone who agrees with it.
Yeah, I don't like criminal regimes. It's a bad trait of mine.
I never said hate Brenda...that was for Bush, Cheney and the neo-cons.
It has since turned to pity.
Umm, just a word of caution, I was banned for six days for asking someone if he had checked behind his eyelids for his facts. It was deemed unnecessarily combative.
Combative or negative personal comments to people IF THEY ARE REPORTED are not tolerated apparently.
Some people work full time trying to goad others into a combative mode, some are just obnoxious all the time. But best to ignore personal goading that falls short of actual combative words.
I don't mind some combativeness myself and I don't report attacks against me. But bear in mind some people do.

The Bachman's took in teenage girls. Bachman was a teenage girl who apparently was on her own in at least a financial aspect. If the Bachman's took in teenage girls at a time when Michelle was at home raising their children too in order to supplement the income, is that a sin?
I'm liking Bachman more and more as I read about her. Thanks for the attack thread that piqued my interest in her.
No, but apprently it's a sin if a woman has a child out of wedlock and needs gvt help to pay for day-care.
Well it's at least a crying shame.
Oh wait. Shame? Not is liberal dictionary.
Oh, so it's a shame to have a baby?
Funny, coming from the forced-birth crowd.
Force them to give birth, while shaming them in the process, then cut off all aid when the time comes.
Yes, this religion thing loooks better and better all the time. NOT.
Welcome back to the fray, AnnCee!
I honestly had no idea you'd been banned. Thought you'd just been off doing real life stuff or something.
Your comment doesn't strike me as excessively combative.
But then, it wasn't directed towards me .
And if it were, I would be smart enough to know that the LAST place I should look for facts is behind my own eyeballs.
Thanks for the reminder that we are all just one snarky remark away from banishment.
So keep it clean, civil, and careful, everyone!
Howdy MM. Combination of ban and vacation. I guess that worked out all right.
Glad to be back.

Is there any Republican presidential candidate more entertaining that Michele Bachmann? Sure, there's Herman Cain and his new-affair-every-week-or-your-money-back policy. And then there's Newt Gingrich and his constant stuttering while trying to spit out the phrase "sanctity of marriage",...
