Palin and Bachmann - What if?

   What if Palin and Bachmann weren't hot? What if they didn't look the way they do? Would they still get the support, have the political appeal? Put on them, the face and body of Archie Bunker's wife Edith, and think to yourself...how would you judge their statements if such were the case? Curious question.

      Nobody wants to wander into the waters? They wouldn't be on any news reports whatsoever is the answer to this question. If they were not hot, they would just be the backwoods tards we see spouting some of the most ridiculous statements we've ever seen. Instead, they are hot...so we pay attention as if they aren't actual ignorant psychos.

         Selection of Archie Bunker is quite apt, I think.
         Although not Edith, but Archie himself.
         Imagine the same words coming out of HIS mouth.
         You are absolutely right.
         Is Michelle Bachmann hot? She is attractive (in the Tea Party female mold) but hot? I haven't heard her called that...
         Palin, on the other hand, is selling her sexuality.
         I suppose some would (and will) argue that she is countering the Obama charisma with her own down-home Alaska way.
         
         So yes, I wholeheartedly agree with you that the ONLY reason people pay any attention to either of them is because of the package.
         In the eyes of the media, it's the fact that each has become a parody of herself.
         Hard to believe there really are American citizens out there who give any credence to what either one of these faux bimbos says.
         
         BTW, did you know that Planned Parenthood is trafficking in young girls? Guess who I learned that tidbit from. I've give you 50/50 odds of guessing correctly (hint: her name is in the thread title) ...

                  How do you think she compares to Palin and Bachman? I'm not a big fan of Hillary, but she's no fool. Her biggest mistake was to be misled by the foreign policy establishment and the Bush administration to vote for Bush's foolish, costly invasion of Iraq. Also, she's a calculating political animal.
