Just wondering in your opinion how to drive traffic to your hub?
I have a fairly simple idea about driving traffic to a content site. It's the content that is king. Great content attracts links. So create several pieces of content that are tightly related and link them together in a useful way. For example, you might create a series of hubs on skin care. Then link the related hubs together. This is sort of a portfolio approach in that if one hub gains natural links, then the others will share in it. This will then increase traffic to the other content as well.

Content that is original and informative works. Links work. And following the information in my hub on How to Generate More Traffic works!
I agree with the content is king remark - and I try as much as possible to generate evergreen content. I agree with the fact that it keeps driving more traffic over the long run.
1. Make a keyword research before writing a Hub
2. Interlink your Hubs with similar Hubs
3. Use Social Bookmarking tools to bookmark your Hubs (Ex. Digg.com, Del.ici.ous, StumbleUpon.com)
4. Use social networking websites to drive traffic to your Hubpages (Ex. Facebook, Linkedin, MySpace, Twitter)
5. Participate to Hubpages forum, Answers, and other discussions
6. Follow other members with good reputation and comment on their great Hubs
These are some of the most important and easy ways to get a lot of traffic to your Hubpages.
Become a guest blogger on a website that gets tons of traffic, as long as the blog is related to your hubs content you can write useful content and then backlink to your similar hub.
For instance if you go to the search bar and put in "guest blogger wanted" you will get a list of websites needing content.
I think google adsense takes time , so wait and watch to increase traffic because i have done all things but they dont work .
You can find good answer to your question here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Increase-Target … -Your-Site
research analyst ......Great idea about being a guest blogger...I will try that
thanks!
Lately I've been trying to just write about what I think will currently be a hot topic. I spent some time looking at Google Trends the other day but it was all about the stock market. I was hoping that it would be wise to write about what gets Googled the most but that didn't seem the case =\.
One thing that appears to be overlooked is using hubpages STATS to fine tune your articles.
Don't just write an article and give up on it. If it's worth doing once it's worth making sure it's done correctly. Hubstats are very valuable. You can see where your traffic is coming from and how they are finding you. You know the keywords that are being used. You can go back and fine tune your articles around variations of the keyword or alter the keyword densities. You can also experiment with the Title Tool.
Sometimes something as simple as changing a title to include or exclude a specific phrase can make the difference between users in Google. Bing. and Yahoo. finding you or not.
