   What will you do if someone keeps on playing songs that you really hate?
   
   My neighbors' housekeepers would always play sentimental songs and would sing their hearts out early in the morning. It makes me want to hide under my pillow.

   Switch of the electricity supply briefly and explain they are doing your head in, and take away their batteries. LOL. Or check and see are you showing a lateral low toleration of music due to an underlying issue? Sometimes the least little thing can bug me if I am feeling tired which in turn makes me feel cranky...it can happen, but I try to see myself doing it so I can stop myself repeating it.

   They obviously go to bed early.  You could be vindictive and wait until, say, 11pm, then play really loud music that you enjoy. That of course will annoy other neighbours and would  be childish.  Or you could go over to their house and knock on the door.  Proclaim: oh, I love to sing/play guitar and proceed to do so only your own music.  when they protest and say you weren't invited you say "oh! I thought the fact that you were waking me up early in the morning meant that everyone was invited like all-night parties."
   
   Of course, during the working hours of the day, there is nothing you can do about it.  But in my building you can't play/sing music, do laundry, vaccuum etc. between 10pm and 9am.  Most people folow this rule, but some renters recently had an all night party that lasted until 6am as a moving party.  Not thrilling, especially for the several seniors that live in my building

   put headphones in and listen to your own music - or maybe try telling them politely that the music is loud and it disturbs you.  Perhaps they don't realize how loud it is.

   I would tell them politely several times to turn it down. When they don’t listen, go to your room and crank up some music you really like. (crazy dancing/ rock out is optional lol!)

   I would say complain. Or you could just do what she does and play some heavy metal, then see how she feels.

   turn your music on and make it louder than theirs, start singing as bad as you can & maybe they will take the hint. LOL
