Two of them, I just don't keep up with them. However, one of my ex's is still a good friend. We share stuff on facebook and talk on the phone every once in a while.
I don't talk to her, but if I were to see her in public I wouldn't be mean or indifferent. The past is pass and unchangeable. I'm married and exes aren't someone that I keep on my social list because it may cause problems and if it causes my wife to feel shady then I make all effort to avoid.
That's good. You definitely want to keep your current partner happy. I'm friends with my ex husband and my bf doesn't mind at all. It's good for our kids for us to get along.
I am okay with some and others I do not talk to at all. Unfortunately I have to speak to my kids father and we do not get a long very well at all. My most recent ex and I tried to be friends but he just stopped speaking to me, I have no idea why. Really though, it doesn't matter because my current guy is all the man I want or need in my life.
It's been nearly 30 years. I get along with him fine. I never see him or hear from him. We had no children, so it was a simple break,. We live in different parts of the country.
When children arent' involved it's defintely easier to stay away..lol
Better you stay away from your ex because if you want friendship relation that may not acceptable by your present partner so be careful while becoming friend with your ex
My present partner is fine with me being friends with my ex. He only gets upset when my ex says mean things to me but that doesn't happen much anymore, thank God. As long as you're not more than friendly, I think it's good to stay friends if you can.
I'm friends with all my exes. I think it takes real maturity on the part of both people to pull it off. It also takes the ability to truly forgive and move on. Otherwise, it won't happen. It may not be a romance but it still takes two to have a successful friendship.
I agree. These people are put in your life for a reason and unless they truly hurt you, you should stay friends or at least civil.
I get along with all of my ex's. Even though I don't speak to them, we never broke up on bad terms, so there is no bad blood between us.
The most chosen option for you should be that you do not pay any attention to the person you want to avoid and do not talk about him/her with the people you have come to. Rather behave as if you are meeting a stranger.
Do not try to show case your emotions of being very happy or sad. Because pretension is easily caught. And it rather than proofing to others that you are least bothered about them proves that you are doing or behaving the same to pretend to be better in front of them.
For more insight on this, you can also refer to one of my recent articles on this issue- 'Are you carrying reflection of the past', if desired.
