What makes wives stay w/husbands who are disrespectful towards them? Why do some wives stay w/husbands through extramarital affairs? What makes wives stay in UNHAPPY, DISRESPECTFUL marriages?
Probably the same things that keep husbands with disrespectful, cheating wives.
Financial and/or emotional support maybe. Children. Social standing. Religion. Fear of starting alone. I'm sure there are a hundred more reasons as well.
Because of 'the law of karma' husbands and wives will stay in "UNHAPPY, DISRESPECTFUL marriages" due to the fact that each life-force AS both gender must experience every emotional attribute ever other man has experienced, from Religion's perspective.
From Social perspective: marriages are generally maintained due to opposites' attractions and the conditioned mind's willingness to keep their oath's "until death do we part". All of our previous incarnations' memories are usually not allowed into a present incarnation's memory until we incarnate to become enlightened when, religiously spoken in John 14:26 it is when "the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance" happens.

Why do many women find it a threat to be a submissive wife?Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Colossians 3:18-19

Do you think husbands should give their wives Mother's Day presents? Why or why not? After they become parents, obviously. And just as obviously, I am biased about this topic. But I want to know your opinion.
