How do KIDS GET IN A WAY OF YOUR MARRIAGE?
Are you tired? don't have time for yourself? Is your kids in a way of your marriage? How are we going to fix that as Mothers not girlfriends?
I have two step kids and they mean the world to me, and just the other day their uncle comes over and tries to tell me how to discipline properly, in an impolite manner, leaving my spouse in a tough predicament. Kids can indirectly or directly get in the way very easily. It's all about the kids first, then what we want. So big times , yes!
I think the only way out is to stick together. Only you both know how to raise your kids, and nobody else but you. Everyone's opinion is respected doesn't mean taken. More love between partners makes the kids more cool and relaxed. To many parents involved and you have a zoo full of arguments and back talk. You want to feel as you also have a life in a marriage.
The only problem I have with that is that Dad is more lenient with our daughter than I am. She is 17 and says "please Daddy" and he turns to mush! So occasionally we have to discuss the problem and go back to the Word of God on discipline (including setting limits)and its benefits to children!
Now what is going on in your head.....what is the reason and purpose for you getting married to begin with. Your children didnt ask to come into this world. I am gathering that is a decision that yourself and you husband has made. It seems as though you and your husband need to communicate as well as work out whatever issues you two have between each other. Don't you dare use your children as scapegoats. It's ashamed that you are doing that. Maybe you should start with some soul searching, as well as do some internal spring cleaning. If the truth be told you sound like a self centered individual who has realized the life you are now living isnt what you thought it would be. Get your mind right and your marriage and maybe things will begin to fall into place. The last I remember, children to play apart in marriage. If you dont want responsibility you should have stayed single and leisurely mingle. I just don't get it!

What is your personal definition of marriage? In some cultures, prearranged marriages are normal. My husband's sister and her husband only knew each other for one week. Now they have eight children and have done fine. Does love have to be part of marriage?
