In Marriage, Is The Wife Or The Husband Supposed To Have General Friends Of The Opposite Sex?
Yes- if you trust that person. With that being said, if you cant trust your spouse you should not be together. As long as your spouse is upfront and you both know the rules about relationships with others, then you will be fine.
For me, it is as simple as reminding my husband that he knows where home is. I know his female friends, they know me and they never ask to do things without me being there (sometimes i decline however).
If they were being sneaky it would be an issue, but other than that, if you smother a person with too much distrust, they will leave. No ne deserves to be accused, blamed or even thought to have messed around prior to it happening.
Absolutely, a friend is a friend, no matter what the sex is. Friends enrich you and add value - the person can only become a better contributor to the world.
