What should I do? My husband of 6 years is disabled but he doesn't really do housework, washes...
dishes and some laundry. He messes up the check book every month. I feel like I have to work, cook, clean do the finances and raise our daughter all while going to school for my bachelors degree.
It would amaze you when you treat your husband like a man, what you can get him to do.
Have a bit more genuine patience,
Men tend to feel challenged by assertions that what they do isn't appreciated. Noticing and mentioning the things he does that are of value will get him to want more and do more.
