How do you know when you have found the one you want to spend forever with?
Is there some sort of magical spark or something? I've felt attraction before and enjoyed being kissed...but not towards anyone I've dated...and none of the relationships tend to last
Good question but a difficult one to answer. The problem is that even if you feel a "magical spark" that it may not last long. Many couples experience "romantic love" during the first 6 - 18 months of their relationship. During this time they are really "in love" and often can't see anything wrong with their partner.
However, when the "romantic love" phase comes to an end they often start noticing things that bother them that they didn't notice before or that did not bother them before.
The only advice I can give you is to take your time and to trust your feelings. There is no rush.
All the best,
You said it best "FduToit" there is no way you can tell from the beginning. In the beginning if you like them and they like you, it seems everything is perfect. As time goes on we'll see things that may or may not bother us about them. The truth is when you do find out the things about someone that like and dislike but you can tolerate them and you desire them and they desire you, believe it or not that's a great place to be.
Never rush into a relationship based solely on your feelings, however never ignore your feelings, time will always give you a better picture who you really want and need and who wants and needs you.
Love is powerful and possible to obtain. Never give up on the most important reason for living and that is to be loved and to love.
