I cry over almost everything for a plethora or reasons, and sometimes for no apparent reason...
(apparent as I have some idea at times) Anyone a fellow cry baby??? Dont get me wrong, when I say over almost everything, I know that most issues point to some type of trauma and also grief issues, I just choose the best times to deal with them, and no longer hide tears in most cases. I do get annoyed that when I get angry i tend to cry, but I used to use my fists, mainly on walls windows and anything non human, but in my zero tolerance to animal cruelty I have used quick violence to save animals.
I'm blessed to not have this problem. Try to dissociate from the situation. It's the opposite of empathy. Pretend you're a character in a book and completely isolated from that character, so the consequences won't affect you. In short, I'm advising you to be "out of touch" sometimes. It's the best thing for people with a proficiency in emotional communication.
I hope this helps.
Thanx for that, I manage to dissociate if an argument or debate is something to do with my work, or anything I feel strongly about, yet has nothing to do with the issues I tear up in. But your idea is great, to become someone else in the midst of the angst, is a great idea, it merely means for me to take my daydream me out, and enter the situation as the person I dream to be. Thanx for that.
