   Actors get paid for sex scenes with other actors based on their sexual appeal, are they prostitutes?
   
   Think about this question. Since most actors who do love scenes get their role or part due to their sexual appeal with others whom they have no regular relationship ship, is this really legal prostiution? The promiscuity and sexual innuendo in many movies today is becoming less taboo and more acceptable every day. Actor Mike Myers movies on on the English spy, seen my many children, I think ruined his reputation and career. Too bad for such a talent comedian.

   Are actors who get paid to fake murder someone on screen murderers?  Of course not!  Acting for films is just that: acting regardless of the role you play.

   There's just one answer--no.
   
   Actors and actresses have a choice. They can either act the scene or not as you, the viewer has the choice of either watching or not.
   
   The "off" button is a very good way of not having to watch material you feel is inappropriate, rather than watching and then complaining about it afterwards.

   Have you ever seen behind-the-scenes footage from a movie sex scene?  It is completely unemotional and dry, and does obviously not involve intercourse.  So hence there is no link to prostitution.
   
   Many people use sex appeal to get what they want, but if it doesn't result in intercourse then the link to prostitution is not there.

   This is an interesting question if you consider soft core porn, which does not include  penetration.  So are soft core porn actors just actors, or are "real" actors just soft core porn actors?  A fine line. I would say no, they are not prostitutes but perhaps porn actors. However, since most Hollywood movies are plot driven with the love scenes being just a small portion of the plot, I would say they are not soft core porn actors.
