Discipline is the answer.Take away something that they love to do.Don't give something that you normally give or do for them.Make it so that they have to conform to your wishes in order for you to continue providing something. It will work.

In this case, it is a respect issue. They need to have a reason to respect you or the situation.
Tell your family member that if they keep fu**ing cursing that you're gonna hire some boys to break their fu**ing legs; and if that don't work that you're gonna tie them to a mother fu**ing tree and kick the living sh** out of them.

Sometimes bad language can become such a habbit that the person doesn't even realise they're doing it, and a continual reminder given in a calm manner should do the trick.
