Have you being heartbroken before? And how did you get over it?
Yes! I simply kept busy. Went out a lot with family, and when I did remember him I allowed myself to remember the bad things. I would not gloss over them as I did in the past.
In 500 days of Summer the young man in love with her was told by a child to remember how they really were. He finally did it, and it was sad.
Remember how the relationship really was and keep busy.
Yes, I have experienced the break up or I should say I was cheated by a girl. It is really very sad experience. Life becomes very dull and boring. Even the suicidal thoughts come if the grief is continued for a long time. But it is very much possible to get over from this sad and bad experience. I have written a hub about this. You can find this hub useful for getting out of grief of break up or heart breaking
I had been through such experience two years ago by a nun whom I married and had 4 kids. She had been planning to cheat me for the last 15 years and I always trusted her again and and again. One day when her plans and and project was done she silently said, "Our bond is done." Even then I could not understand what she meant. I went through heart attack and had surgery and go so weak and faable that I always prefered death. My Lord was not agreed with me because he is Almighty and has ways to come out of it. Finally I became penyless and did not know who to get my daily food even by He was always there for me. I thank God now that I am normal and having good time in HIs kingdom. Pray and look back and see His mercies and grace just this cheat love is not every thing. There are other thinks to do and there are other hopes and wishes besides this cheated love. Love so rife like a sea and find someone whoh is faithful and do not leave faithfulness and thankfullness because our Lord is Love.
Keep things in perspective. (It's not the end of the world).
Allow yourself a quiet weekend to grive alone if need be.
Afterwards make it a point focus on things you probably have been neglecting because the of relationship. (hobbies, going to movies, concerts, and other things with friends and families)
If at all possible cut off all communication with your ex for at least one year. Staying in contact often leads to someone getting their hopes up for getting back together. Instead it becomes a yo-yo relationship or booty call situation.
An ex is usually an ex for (a very good reason).
Remember your future is ahead of you and not behind you!
I realized that heart break is apart of life. I accepted the fact that that individual and I were not meant to be together, and I remained optimistic for the person who is meant for me.
During the hurt, it helps to surround yourself with family and friends. Also, focus your attentions on other things.
