I believe it depends on the person and their education and maturity level.
Whoever is more logical. Normally this is the male. Women tend to be blinded by emotions before thinking logically which blinds them in situations.
I don't think you can generalize. Some women, some men might be great in a crisis, others may not. It depends on who they are, what they do, how they handle life's stresses.
I think both can be wise in differt ways a women is more nurturing where as a man is better at taking action getting things settled it aslo depends on the man and womens own ability to remain calm
I believe knowledge and experience of the person is more important than the sex of the individual when it comes to handling a specific crisis.
Everyone has his or her own strengths and weaknesses.
