Are you just brutally honest with your parnter or do you try to butter your partner up?
For example, my husband and I are going to a U2 concert tomorrow (7/23) and I've been trying to be super sweet to him this week so that he won't complain at the event.
Honesty is the best policy but buttering your own husband is also good.
U need to do the both becz to much honesty creates problms...
I believe we are only "brutally honest" with people we don't care about. Those that we love we tend to find a way to be "tactfully honest". It is possible to use an "edit button" and still get your point across. Venting angrily or complaining rudely is usually done to make the "complainer" feel better.
What you are doing with your husband falls under what Dale Carnegie called, "How to Win Friends and Influence People" :-)

How many hubs do you hop on HubHopper per week; are you kind or brutally honest in your evaluations?I have hopped a few hubs here recently on HubHopper that were abysmal. I felt a little cruel giving 2's across the board, but I thought better that, than see it posted. I usually have to quit...
