I don't think that I would. Once the trust is gone it's near to impossible to get back. If he/she was able to do it once, what's to stop them from doing it again? I could forgive a drunken kiss maybe...
If a person truly loves and respects another then, in my opinion, infidelity shouldn't be an issue.
Infidelity is very hard to forgive because the trust is lost. Even if you love the person & forgive, you are constantly plagued with doubts. The relationship cannot be the same as before & to make it work it requires a lot of effort.
