Do you think it's better emotionally to wait for marriage to have sex?
I know several couples who waited until marriage for sex. They have solid relationships, families and finances. I'd say 7 out of the 8 couples I know who waited. All have been married over 10 years. What do you think?
I honestly don't believe the reason for a 50% divorce rate is due to couples who were in love had sex prior to getting married. I suspect the number one reason for divorce is and always been (selecting the wrong mate). You really have to know yourself, your wants, and needs before you choose a partner for life. The next step is to make sure that he or she wants what you want.
Ultimately both people must have the same goals for the marriage and agree on a strategy for reaching them. Couples who agree on the major things in life tend to stay together. I've never heard of any divorced couple blame their divorce on pre-marital sex.
Dating is a way to find out if you have any feelings for this person.
And not having sex is the right thing to do
And if sex is in the relationship?
What does this do for you and your lover
Now that you are married.
It might not work because you two have experienced this before
That is just what I believe!
