    I don't see why not. Really, online dating services are little more than "introduction" services. The best thing to do is meet in person before any relationship progresses too far because you can never be fully sure that the person is who they say they are.

    Well, I don't know about soul-mates, but I did meet my life partner on a dating site. I had been separated for one year and my mom and sisters wanted me to start dating. I wanted nothing to do with dating, so I signed up for an on-line dating site. I chatted with a few men, but nothing really came of it. I chatted with one guy who wanted to meet me. I decided that we would meet, and not really like one another and then my obligation to my family would be fulfilled and I could go back to being a happy, single mom. I had enjoyed spending time alone with my three boys, especially after having an alcoholic, abusive ex. Bill and I met and continued to be friends. I let him meet my boys about two months later. About the time we had been seeing each other for about one year, he moved in with us. We have been together for about seven years, and we are looking to buy a house together.
