I have been seeing commercials on TV for this website.
The name of the site is:
Ok, so far so good.
What trips me up is the site's tagline:
"Find God's Match For You(tm)"
How did that slogan get past the legal department?
Aren't the opening themselves up for claims of pverpromising? False advertising?
How can they make this claim???
Okay, so you know with all the paid sites out there for finding love? I found my husband on craigslist. Go figure.
I don't see anything wrong with this "Find God's Match For You(tm)" statement.
You never know. Perhaps God personally blessed the computer programmers when they wrote that matchmaking technology.
Prove that it isn't real!
You found the oxymoron right with your title of the OP MM
'Truth in advertising'
Now that I think about it, maybe this is the most brilliant use of the Internet since Facebook!
If you are for any reason unhappy with the person you get matched with, don't blame the site -- blame GOD!
But, if you do blame GOD, you are obviously not a faithful Christian!
In which case, YOU are the one who is engaging in false advertising -- coming onto a CHRISTIAN dating site under false pretenses.
This site is pretty scammy. I push dating sites so I checked them out. They also run these sites:
BBW (big ladies)
A total of 28 different dating sites. I assume they all share the same database, even though they are all supposedly different.
Sounds like true love to me!!
Ha ha! That's a riot, Bill. Thanks for checking these folks out.
Good question! I don't see any Atheist Singles site listed...:;ol:
If it was ebay, I could never have afforded him.....lol
the pure genius!!!
If I was a single man, I would sign up right away...
"Oh, come on baby... let's go back to my place... God obviously wants us to"
