Do you believe in dating someone based on their  zodiac sign?

When I was actively dating, I never did.  However, I know that some people do, so I have to believe that the practice exists.

Personality traits designated to each zodiac are broad enough to encompass all characteristics so I don't trust the logic, plus relationships blossom under far more unlikely circumstances than an incompatibility in which month a man and woman are born. Couples that successfully overcome opposing zodiac signs may be described as exceptions to the rule to folly.

Absolutely! I do it all the time. A friend of mine who doesn't believe in the zodiac has been divorced 11 times, whereas I have only been divorced seven times over exactly the same time span. So, I think that goes to show that it works!

Wow! That's very interesting to know. Thanks! Good luck with the current or next one!

I believe I'm currently heading for another divorce, so I've lined up another marriage on a provisional basis just in case. But this one is a record: almost three months!

Yes, I do.  There seems to be a good bit of truth about zodiac sign personalities.  Seeking friends and companions with certain traits and tendencies is sensible, maximizing the chances for a great relationship.

      Hi tonja niemi,
There is some truth with zodiac signs. It's still best to give everyone a chance - until they prove otherwise. Thanks for sharing your insight!

I think that the descriptions that zodiac signs give often do describe personality traits pretty well in a general sense. But I do not believe that we should date somebody based on the zodiac. While people may have some of the traits listed in the descriptions, every person is different and cannot be judged by this method. For example, Virgos are known to be very analytic which I do see in all the Virgos I know, but one person might analyze things to the point of annoyance and another might make perfect sense. So we need to date people who make us happy, and who we feel are compatible with us. Imagine missing a relationship with a great person because the zodiac said that Cancers and Leos are not compatible.
