   Happy Chinese New Year!
   Do you pay attention to Chinese zodiac signs? When the description tells you which other signs are ok vs. trouble, do you heed the warnings?

      I am a rat, married to a snake.  Doesn't sound too good for me does it?  Since snakes eat rodents.  Hmmm.... My oldest is a Dragon and my youngest is a Tiger.  I wrote a hub on Chinese Zodiac signs actually.

   I'm a dragon, my husband was an ox, although he really didn't fit the profile at all.
   
   I don't pay too much attention to it, but it can be rather entertaining to read.   my sons are a rooster and an ox.

    Interestingly, I'm also apparently under the new sign of the other zodiac, Ophiucus. But then, that's a hot debate as to whether or not it's really a zodiac sign or not.

    Good point about the "regular" zodiac signs.
    I was frankly quite relieved to still be a Taurus!
    I mean, when your primary characteristic is stubbornness, you kinda hate to give that up !

       I found out the new sign only affects the Eastern hemisphere, so you really are still a Virgo. And a Monkey, of course.

    I personally have a hard time wrapping my head around a zodiac system based on an entire year. Everyone born in that year all have the same characteristics? Not true! Maybe it makes more sense if that's the system you grow up with.
    Me, I'll stick with being a "stubborn" Taurus married to my crabby Cancer!

    I was born during the year of the dog.  Married to a rooster...and the marriage is going strong after 12 years despite the fact that roosters and dogs aren't supposed to get along particularly well.

    Let's see...I'm a Virgo who was born in the year of the Horse, but wait!  It's not simply the year of the horse, oh no!  It's the year of the Fire Horse! (sounds much more like me than the regular horse, well, except for the part about living on the edge.  lol)
