We look back and we see ourselves saying: Did we do that?" What have you done for your better half without thinking? Are you guys still together? Do you regret it?

This is going to sound very jaded and cynical, but yes, I regret all the crazy things I did to win someone over, because 99% of the time they didn't care or appreciate it and I looked stupid and/or felt disappointed.  Now, I tend to stick to low-key acts of love.

I'm sure you'll get a lot of great and wonderful stories though. smile

I started skipping my college classes and started staying out all night just to spend time with him. and Yes we are still together. I would never regret it.

I followed a girlfriend to the university she was attending to try and re-spark our relationship. It didn't work out, but I met some of my closest friends during that time.

I don't know about greatest or silliest thing I ever did for love..but I do know the stupidest !!! and most embarassing... our children were little and we both had demanding careers....time together was limited..It was Halloween and I had just returned from a 2 week seminar..the children had gone to bed after trick or treating..my husband was making a sandwich...I got the idea to undress put on a raincoat and a mask as a joke..I crept down the stairs and knocked on the back door...opened the raincoat and yelled trick or treat...only problem, my husband had asked our new next door neighbors in to share the late night snack...and her husband was the one who opened the door...surprise ! I grew up real quick that night....yes we're still together 50 years....
