They say, if you paint your bedroom red, you and your partner will fight and if you paint your bedroom blue you will stay calm. Do you beleive this is true?
Yes! At least I know they can affect my mood. If I am surrounded by dark colors,my mood will also be dark. But lighter colors will lighten my mood, as well, especially if the light colors are accompanied by a lot of sunlight.
Maybe if your bedroom is painted in a color that causes you to stress out you would be more likely to argue with your significan other.
Yes, I think colors effect our moods but not entirely in the way you described. Each person has a different take on colors. Blue might be soothing for one person, but it could be energetic to another. It would depend on both of the individuals perception of the color, what is being said, the color itself, and even what room.
