Two of the biggest things that will ruin a relationship is lies and secrecy. No relationship of any kind can ever survive that.

It's hard for any relationship to survive betrayal. A friend should not tell your secrets, go behind your back or mess with your boyfriend.

Being a good friend requires patience, a sense of loyalty and lots of effort. If any of these three areas are lacking, then the friendship becomes one-sided and will fail.

Knowing what your boundaries are and sharing them with those you care about is essential.  Not sharing your boundaries or stepping on those of a friend, whether intentional or not, will ruin a friendship.

Mixing business into a friendship can ruin the friendship over time. Before loaning money, making a sales transaction, co-signing, or forming a business partnership, consider all of the perils and possible pitfalls. Is the friendship durable enough to take tough blows? Many friendships are not.

Lying to your friend and keeping secrets from, especially if it deals, with you being with your best friends partner. Another thing also is if you been using your friend.

The best kept secrets are those that even your house cat does not know about. When you are sharing the trust, friendship could become a beautiful relationship and any relationship could easily transcend the meaningful barriers into something sublime.
It depends on whether you trust someone or not. Relationships could take time, but the ones that spring up on the spur of the moment sometimes are the strongest.
We have never seen many of the friends that we make on the Internet, yet we trust them.

Control! Friendship or any other relationship for that matter is a partnership not ownership. Control is a form of ownership and it starts when someone says "do this, don't do that."
