Be yourself. Nothing else makes any sense if you're looking for a long term relationship.

Be yourself, listen to what is said or not said and trust your instincts. Last but not least try to have some fun. It's not as though someone is asking you to decide on whether to cut red wire or the blue wire. LOL
If it doesn't work out you may have some funny stories to tell your friends. Dating is an exploratory exercise.

After my first date with my now husband I thought he was fake because he was too nice. I had always dated jerks and losers. My co worker told me to give him another chance when I said I wasn't interested. I did, and we were married 2 months later, 12 years now and happy.

Just make sure you see the person and don't fall for the pretense. Sometimes they are what they seem, sometimes they aren't. It's up to you to determine which is real.

Be yourself - that way you can get rid of the wrong people faster!  The right one(s) will appreciate you the way you are.

Give it a try to know the guy!

Dating means knowing the person so you'll be able to assess whether there'll be second, or third date or not!

Haha just like everyone else here I would say 'be yourself'. I'm a bit weird, I like to dance around and sing songs, and when I do it in front of people who don't know me very well they look at me like I'm a bit mental. That's not a very nice feeling, so I've learned to be a watered down version of me in front of people who don't accept me for who I am... and that's quite a lot of people! Thankfully my boyfriend isn't one of them, and I'm sure that I wouldn't be happy in our relationship if I didn't feel that I could run into the sitting room at any given moment and do a little jig.
It might take a little longer to find someone who truly loves you for who you are, but you'll be much happier in the long run smile
