What would you do or say.....
(if you are heterosexual) if a member of the same sex expressed interest in you?
or
(if you are homosexual) if a member of the opposite sex expressed interest in you?
Nip it in the bud. I would politely tell them that I am only interested in women. I'm sure this would suffice, because it has probably happened to them before.
Just smile and be pleasant and say that I was involved with someone. No need to discuss sexual orientation. No thank you is no thank you.
You act the same as if gender wasn't the issue, and you just weren't interested....and be kind. You don't even have to bring up sexual orientation. If the person persists though, I guess you'd have to let them know of your "preference".
My friend Jen actually did that for a while, it got worse when she was drunk. Luckily, she has diminished her drinking and I just step away every time she expresses interest.
oo now thats a really hard situaton ... when your friend is attracted to you but u dont feel the same ... regardless of genders or personal sexualities.
Very good question, unpredictable lover of green. I think I would just give them a gentle rejection. If that worked, nothing else would be said.
I will be polite enough to reject which will automatically show my preference.
Politely with a nice thanks state that I am with someone.
Thanks.
I've actually had this experience before. Unfortunately the guy was not one of the more reserved and classy gays but something of a predator, so I ignored him and he got the message.

There is a question going around about gay people on wether or not they choose to be gay, or if they think they were born that way. Well, someone came up with the brilliant idea of asking people on the street if they were gay or straight, and, then asked them the following question, which had them...

What is your sexual orientation?I am not going to judge I am just more interested in your POV. I would never use your answer to dismiss you in any way.

Have you ever been told that you were or are an answer to a prayer? There have been a number of times when a person had been an answer to my prayer. And they never even realized it until I told them. It is amazing how God will place people in your path to answer your prayer, people you would...
