How many thoughts does your mind "think" in an hour, have you ever tried to keep count?

It would be impossible to count all of our thoughts because the "count" in itself would be a thought... And as it is a thought that wouldn't regularly be there, the results would be skewed!

Also you have to think about the fact that your brain operates on so many levels, that there are subconscious and unconscious thoughts that run simultaneously with our regular, deliberate thoughts. We would need some sort of specialist computer to be able to track all of this.

Yup. National average (per psychological studies), about 10,000. Me, on a good day, about 300. And noticing in awareness, which allows counting, is not thinking.

Oh lord, I wouldn't even want to try this one. My mind is all over the place all the time, constantly turning the gears in my head from my first waking moment until I can stop it enough to fall asleep (sometimes this takes many hours and I end up just sleeping for an hour or two. HATE that.) I've been told this might be anxiety but I don't think it is nor would I want to change it... it brings me to interesting places, that's for sure!
