Would you still continue a friendship with someone who you have discovered is jealous of you?
You can know someone for years. Except them, Allow them into your homes, Connect and share heart to heart moments.Be present in their most difficult moments. While all along this jealousy is collectively building unknown to you. Until something forces all things to come to surface. What do you do with that friendship?
If it bothers you then let them go. Each of us gets to (choose) our own friends, lovers, and spouse. No one is "stuck" with anyone.
Personally speaking I would not knowingly spend time with someone who was jealous or envious of me. It's in the direction of hating you. They're secretly hoping to see you fail or looking for a chance to replace you in some capacity. Avoid toxic people.
Yes. Jealousy is normally between friends. A small amount I would think is actually healthy. We are always jealous of someone for something. Their freedom, job, pay, belongings, amount of friends, openness, bright personality, etc. Just like with family we take the bad with the good.
