As far as online dating, I wouldn't touch it. But, if so my worst fear is that the so called woman that I am getting to know turns out to be a man. Ouch!!
I worry about the typical things with online dating: the guy might not actually be a guy; he might be lying about things such as his age or his profession; he might be a homicidal maniac. However, the main thing that bothers me about online dating is that stupid thing some sites make you fill out regarding the physical characteristics of your "ideal" mate. I was on a site (very briefly I might add!) that asked me to fill out what height, weight, age, hair color, and eye color I was looking for! I will fall in love with a guy because he's worth falling in love with. NOT because of what he looks like. Dating sites, at least the ones with the structure I just described, make me feel insecure. I have enough problems in my life without having to worry about fitting into some guy's mold for the "perfect woman". So I guess you could say my greatest fear of online dating is the way they expect people of both genders to think.
My greatest fear is that i will actually start online dating. So many "women" online are actually men.
Thats why you need to see them on cam and. Don't believe anything in a short time. If I do go online dating I will look for all the information is possible in order to see if what I am told is true. There are many ways to do so.
I got your point the fear of lie is what most people are afraid of in online dating, but as AnnaCia says there are ways to find out if the person is lying or not. But I wouldn't blame a dating site for lie, it's people who lie not the site, right?
That is so true, Amanda. There will always be the rotten liars which can be found online or face to face dates. Just be aware of the promises and the information You could give that can harm you.
It is true that dating sites are not lies and the people on them can be, but i feel much more secure dating in real life anyhow.
