What are some pet names you have for your spouse or significant other?
Babe, baby, sweety, sweetheart, darling, love. Anything else is in the moment.
I'm Sparky, my husband is Chance. It wasn't an organic decision, but came about after I heard that having a pet name in a marriage actually promotes a better relationship. (I have to change Chance's name because I think a two syllable pet name for my Mike would make me love him even more. LOL)
I call my husband Sea Otter. We hold hands while we're falling asleep and someone posted a photo on Facebook once of two otters holding hands while they sleep so they don't drift apart. I thought, "That's us!" I've been calling him that ever since. He calls me Misha.
This is so cute. I told my husband about your answer before we went to bed. We still didn't hold hands though :]
Thanks! I agree that pet names in a marriage can aid in strengthening it...in almost any relationship really. My daughter is Jazzberry at home (she's Jasmine) and NO ONE but me or my husband may call her that. It creates intimacy and bonding.
Babe, also his name is Eric and I often call him Ricky or Rick (not in front of others--LOL)
I call my spouse just plain old "Hun" but he calls be "Pumpkin" as his pet name for me; funny that orange is one of my favorite colors.
Turkey and babe or honey unless we are upset then it is mommy or daddy lol
We both call each other "Squirtle" (it's a Pokemon) because a long time ago we found an internet comic that had Squirtle in it and we thought it was hilarious. It really...doesn't make sense. Sorry.
On a more serious note, he calls me Little Deer or Mien Reika, I call him Dobie or Schutzhund.

Do you get angry if your boyfriend/spouse looks at other women?Assuming he doesn't do it in front of you, is looking harmless? Would you want him to be honest about it if he does or keep it to himself?
