Do you love fat people???
People make fun of the fat ones...often I have seen they taunt them or they 'd keep their extra or nick name...do fat ones look funny to you? Do you like fat people?
I don't look at someone's physique when determining whether I love them or not - what's most important is someone's braveness, kindness and ability to give and receive love.
Thank you Definitions for your lovely answer...
You 'll notice people try to judge a person from his first sight...not even giving him a chance to prove himself.
Women can gain weight anytime in their lives, specially after having a baby. So they should not be blamed for this issue.
Men have no excuse to be fat, unless they have a certain kind of disease which is very rare. I hate seeing a fat man, honestly. However, I wouldn't hate him in person. I'm not perfect myself. No one actually is.
So, why hate?
Mohammed, I did not actually talk about hating ...The thing is why someone is taunted or gets nick if he is not smart like us. Do fat ones are really ignored?
My liking or loving someone has nothing to do with size. So yes, I have many curvy, thick, a few extra pounds friends in my life.
If someone gives a nick to you or to your kid just because he is bulky...what 'll you do???
My daughters had a grandmother who always pointed out weight gain when they were in their young teen years. I put a stop to that immediately! I told her she needed to focus more on her own appearance and clean her own doorstep for once.
Thank you...luvtoowrite... Means one must be straight forward to that guy...
Fat or thin, tall or short, different skin colors, wild or "normal" clothes - none of that matters to me. I love people for what's on the inside. As the saying goes "pretty is on the outside, ugly (referring to how the person acts, etc) goes all the way to the bone".
People will find fault with you no matter who you are or what you look like. This doesn't means you're the one in the wrong, it just means they're a jerk. Or mentally disturbed, or prejudiced, or just raised to be hateful. This starts in childhood. I hear people says, "kids are cruel" ALL the time and it pisses me right off because children are not naturally cruel, they become cruel when no one disciplines them or sets them down and says, "HEY! How would you feel if someone were taunting you? Bad? Then knock it off!" If you feel persecuted for being fat or being with someone whose fat then find yourself someone to be around that acts like an adult and not a spoiled child.
Great answer.
Finally found... whatever I was searching for. :p
Thank you for your input, Ma''am!
I believe everyone has some overweight family members and friends that they love therefore it is clear to me even those who do make fun of fat people also make exceptions. In fact there is no one who loves all skinny people either. Talk to anyone long enough and eventually they will reveal that too were made fun of in some way.
People get knocked for baldness, bad teeth, bow legs, being short, tall & skinny, bad skin, cross eyed, hammer toes, bushy eyebrows, big ears, flat ass, big ass, big nose, big feet, big chin, no neck, and various birth defects. Very few us get a "free pass".
Loved the line, " Very few us get a "free pass".
Thank you for your fantastic input.
Fat people don't bother me it is how they choose to live their lives. I don't approve of any name calling to fat people and they are not funny to me.
I've had friends of every conceivable size and shape and don't care what they look like; it is their disposition and character that counts. But since making fun of the fat is pretty universal, I imagine some people find obesity funny. Why? I can't explain any more than I can why some folks make fun of blondes, gingers, people in glasses or kids that wear braces.
You're so right, Bethperry!
People eventually find out, how to make fun of the next guy! Or they may think it's cool to make fun of people who are less cool than you.
Thank you for your answer.

Do ALL fat people have a poor self body image?Currently in a discussion on one of my questions, I have been met with a man who thinks all fat people have poor body image. Now, being a fat woman myself, I COMPLETELY DISAGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT. First, it is not all fat people who have poor body...

Why do we make excuses for fat people?More and more the evidence proves that fat people are unhealthy people, and unhealthy people require more healthcare, healthcare which is TYPICALLY, though not always, footed by the taxpayers. So why is it becoming more and more 'okay' to be fat? Is it because...

Hello all,I am fat. Not obese...but, as my friends describe me, huggable.I like my size; I'm the sort of size where no one will pick a fight with you but you're not expected to join in one either. I'm not fat enough to be at serious risk to myself, and I fence for my region, I just like my food too...
