Should you celebrate the anniversary of when you met or when you became a couple?

Which date is the better to celebrate the anniverary on?

Definitely celebrate when you became a couple. Because when you met, you hardly knew each other and there was probably nothing there but attraction. Why not celebrate everything that you have become instead of everything you were before you became part of a couple?

When you became a couple is a valuable thought and so  much more meaningful.

What prevents you from celebrating both?
